Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
Sorry to say this but they can if they wanted too, and i think that step is not good for Bitcoin and to other cryptocurrencies because it will compromise its decentralized feature. Well if that's the case there is nothing we can do about it, regulating are much better than banning Bitcoin and other Alternative coins.

Bitcoin will be regulated in some countries, First World Countries like Germany, Japan, South Korea and Australia are some of the few. Strange why some people here are afraid of governments and yet wants bitcoin to become mainstream. No regulation, no chance of going mainstream.

I think it's a win for btc if government's accept it and regulate it with fair amount of tax and rules. And it would start a new development and progress and merchants from that country will start to know and use bitcoin as their alternative way of payment. Bitcoin being regulated is needed for bitcoin to reach even further heights.

I agree with your opinion, with the support from the government of every country then bitcoin can be used in any country so the financial system in the world will be evenly distributed.
I do not agree if Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency will threaten the world's financial system.

maybe they can make a regulation for bitcoin in their country but i think its not complete in all aarea of their country, because i think the best way governtment make a regulation is from the local exchanger, the government ask about the owner of the exchanger account and i think from that government can make a reguation about bitcoin in their country

Regulation will be necessary to implement Bitcoin and get mass adoption. But I'm not sure how we can define the word regulation. There is a big space of definition what regulation will mean to cryptocurrencies and how it will affect them.
I hope it will be in a good way for all of us...

What happens from here will depend a lot on how governments react. Will they tolerate anonymous payment systems that facilitate tax evasion and crime? Will they create digital currencies of their own? Another key question is how successfully bitcoin’s numerous “alt-coin” competitors can penetrate the market.

I don't think so because if any rules and regulation impose to it, it will loose its main feature. Besides, everything is well managed here. I don't think any regulation is necessary here.

In my opinion they can regulate bitcoin easily but they needed to make some better better rules so that people should follow in every conditions , here we can see example of big big countries like Japan , USA , amera Australia who already regualted it and allowed to use by the people in limit with high amount tax fee .
So at one side they have restricted to use bitcoin and at another side they allowed but need to pay high fee , where in that case people make themself to keep himself away from such high fee value system .
So here everything is easy for any government to do .

they actually do not see this as a threat, but the greatest avenues for multiple benefits, so they need to temporarily bans to the point where they can benefit from bitcoin and the blockchain system

Bitcoin itself can not be controlled or regulated. governments can only regulate exchanges on which we are trading bitcoin and other thousands of crypto currencies.

Whales can actually control the price of bitcoin but I think government has no power to controlled it. Regulations will happen in the future but of course it will be in favor of cryptocurrency and its investors, government should really adopt the system instead of planning to destroy it because cryptocurrency will help one economy to grow over time.

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
It can only be regulated through local and internaltional exchanges. Yeah they might think Bitcoin as a threat to it's financial system and they also consider it to be used in illegal activities such as money laundering, trading of drugs and weapons so there comes regulations. But here in my country it is not that strict and the governments vision with cryptocurrency is good for investments but they warn people of the risks brought by the volatile market of Bitcoin and any other crypto's.

If there is an agreement between the government and bitcoin, then I think the government can set the bitcoin. However, if one party only, for example the government suddenly wants to set the bitcoin, this is a difficult and impossible.

if the rule makes bitcoin and its investors become more advanced and growing I think it might happen because investors need comfort and security in their investment
