Now some people on the Internet predict that bitcoin will hit a new low since 2018. Is this someone harvesting leeks and alarmist? Historically, there seems to be a similar voice every time prices fall. Our retail investors are reduced to leeks every time.

There has a lot of prediction but sometime it didn't real but I think in 2017 which was the year of the bitcoin prediction that came true.  Last 2017, the price goes up to 20 thousand dollar in just a month after the meeting about the bitcoin that it could be gone on August 1, 2017 but the bitcoin still alive until now.

With todays market situation I guess there is a big chance it will hit a new low if not this year then probably in the next years. Hitting the new low is the worst that I can experience so far I just hope it will not happen. Bitcoin has been very bearish this last few weeks and it seems we can’t really predict what’s going to happen next. Lets just hope for the best, fingers crossed. Lips sealed

I don't think it will fall under $6200 line. Even if I am wrong, why is everyone so worried, it will bounce back up or eventually. Smiley

@IOE no one can predict with accuracy as to where bitcoin prices will end up in coming months, hence you should not believe everything you read on the net these days. As far as those retail investors are concerned I feel bad for them because now they’ll sell their bitcoins at losses on the advice of their analysts, and later when bitcoin prices will rise then they’ll come here and curse bitcoins. The moral of this post is to make you’ll understand the need to hodl for long term, and not to be persuaded by short term fluctuations to sell your coins.

Far from being likely to return like 2018 to $ 3300, Bitcoin will target bullrun in the coming months, and I think the lowest bitcoin price of $ 7,000 will not exceed that.
There is no guarantee that the price of bitcoin will not go down $7000, it is a global market and it has its own risk, even if there is a correction now there is nothing to worry in the long term as the price will recover and everyone knows that and so is the reason we are not seeing massive sell off compared to the earlier price charts. If the market continue to perform badly we might even go down to $5k and it all depends on the next few day of market trends.

It goes the same when the price starts to gain a few percentage. Anyone could predict with the current market condition, but It all depends on how he supported his predictions.
Actually, that range is quite possible. If you noticed how we gradually dropped since we hit the highest this year at around $13,000 on June. Then, Bitcoin plunge and moving sideways trading at $10,000-$9,000 range in the whole month of August to September. Upon entering the month of October  ,Bitcoin has decreased its value again and moving sideways trading around $8,000 for a few weeks ,and now here we are trading at $7,500. I have a feeling that the price will stay at this range again for a week or two before It recovers or become even worse.

Don’t believe everything you read online OP. I don’t think the price will ever go below $6,000 again, certainly not in our lifetime.

There is a pattern. It's logarithmic with powers of 10 in this case. It hits above a power of 10 for an all time high, then drops to somewhere around 50-60% of that, then slowly climbs back to that old ATH, sits around there for a while, then shoots up to the next power of 10 for a much higher all time high. Repeat

3 years of profiting in this market. Even if we dip to $3,000 I'll continue to buy. I bought at $6000, and continued to buy at $500. I'll never stop buying. I take profits every once in a blue moon, but that's only when certain benchmarks are hit. Like the first time I broke 0.2 mil, took $20,000 in profits and injected it back in on the dip. Same when I broke 1 mil. Next profit I'll take is when I break 2 mil. Which isn't too far away with the halving coming next year. Personally I'd love a huge dip like $1,000, but it is very unlikely with bakkt has already come.

If you're currently feeling FUD but you're up, ask yourself how much you'd have to cash out in order to make you immune to FUD. Maybe that's your best option. Don't let emotions control your decision making.

Everyone is free to make predictions about the price of bitcoin, but if bitcoin hits a new low to $ 3000 it's a bit too much in my opinion.
Because right now bitcoin at the price of $ 7,400 is already a low point, so in my opinion it's unlikely that bitcoin will drop below $ 7,000.
Indeed in the world of cryptocurrency anything can happen because of the price of bitcoin volatility. But there must be a rational factor
here, it's easy like this bitcoin as we know it is increasingly known in the world. Therefore if the interest continues to grow rather
unreasonable if bitcoin hits a new low sice 2018. That's makes no sense.

Now some people on the Internet predict that bitcoin will hit a new low since 2018.

People have always been "predicting" what will happen with bitcoin's price. I get it, it's sometimes fun to speculate. But as always in the end, no one knows(I've said this a lot of times that I might as well be a broken record). There will always be bears when the prices are rising. There will always be bulls when the prices are falling. And vice versa for both. Stop wasting time trying to listen to people's "predictions" as I'm pretty sure no one has a track record of predicting the markets with 100% accuracy.

Yes it is not based on other people's predictions, as they do not know what will happen to the bitcoin price, they are just based on what they see and hear from other people. So don't listen to them because it will only cause you fear. You better take this opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin as we will surely see it again in a few weeks when bitcoin prices rise again,

Lots of TA predict bullish lose and bearish takeover, but the lowest price at around $6450, the bottom we expect. The target for the bull is $7700 for the end of this month.
So, bitcoin won't hit a new low price this year, $3300 was the lowest but won't repeat.

Far from being likely to return like 2018 to $ 3300, Bitcoin will target bullrun in the coming months, and I think the lowest bitcoin price of $ 7,000 will not exceed that.

Everyone can predict if there will be a new low. The year has not yet ended although there's almost 2 months left for it to end. There's a comparison for the all time lows and each year there's always a high all time low. So, for last year it was $3,300 - $3,400. We may actually see that the all time low for this year was higher than that. But who am I? I don't know, I'm also just looking into that pattern that we possibly see it happen.

I don't think it will. It is still a bit early for the end of the year hype, but i expect that BTC will soon go back up, unless something really bad happens.

Yes, the key takeaway here is "some people" and who are these people really? These people's opinions can be as good as we have. I can predict and I can also cite good basis of my predictions but one thing is for sure I could not guarantee that what i said will definitely happen. It is the same with all the things that some people are saying and will continue to say. The bottom line with Bitcoin is we have to prepared for the worst while expecting the best. Hopefully, a big boom for Bitcoin is coming in 2020 and that is when the coin can be reaching as high as $2 Million Dollar, according to figures supplied by John McAfee...believe it or not!

Your expecting/assuming the price to go down to around the 3,000 regions? That is what the price of BTC would be if it dropped down to the 2018 time.

Don't think it's necessarily a bad period for Bitcoin, and I think it's a pretty good period for crypto-currencies. Bitcoin's growth, in price and adoption and technology has been fairly stable, with the only big thing we can expect being the block halving.

I say it's a good time for crypto-currencies because a lot of them they are centralised and popular are actually getting support from governments, especially in the stablecoins area.

I can predict that Bitcoin can reach a new all time high this year. My dog can predict that Bitcoin will reach to 0 this year. A beggar on the street can predict that a global recession will happen anytime soon (if he knows about it).

My point?? Anybody can predict and share their opinion to the others and especially on the internet and I don't care about it. Regarding to what you said, it can happen but it can't happen too. The chances of this to happen is around 5-10%. Smiley

When ever there is a rally or a correction in the market you will hear these made up stories and it is nothing new to the market, you do not need to pay anyone to say these things, they have the social media platform or blog or a news website and they keep on chunking out news that will catch the eye of people looking for answers why the market is going down and they make money writing these nonsense.
