I am sure that the glitz of past investments will be repeated in the future. I don't know when or how long it will take, perhaps more than expected. But it will be.

Bitcoin has been on a constant decline in value ever since 2018 started. Most say it has been a result of government regulations, others say that whales are manipulating the market, and some say that it's the result of FUD within the cryptocurrency markets. However, given that Bitcoin was designed to be scarce or limited in supply, it could become much more valuable in the future.

Nevertheless, do you think Bitcoin will hit a trillion-dollar marketcap in the future? How far do you think this is from becoming a reality? I would like to know your thoughts about this. Smiley
Actually, it is very hard to predict what will be the value of it in the future but there is a biggest chances and possibilities that it can be much successful in the future because of the continuously demanding of it by the people all over the world. There are so huge of people that is keeping supporting to it and it's counting until this moment. It is so very amazing when it reach the trillion dollar marketcap in the future and maybe it will happen because like others always said that nothing is impossible in this world so let's wait for that time.

Yeah this is possible because market is tough and once it will bounce back it will continue to go bounce back and this would be the best thing that will going o happen on cryptocurrency. Same its future full of ups and down and at the same time for huge profit also in the near future.

Will Bitcoin reach the trillion marketcap in the future?

yes, because there are so many possibilities that will occur, maybe Bitcoin is now experiencing a significant decline in 2018, but everything can happen in the future, maybe bitcoin will get better and maybe even reach a trillion marketcap even more.

I don't know about bitcoin,but the entire cryptocurrency industry might hit a 1 trillion dollar market cap after a few years(if the government regulations in the big countries are not so strict and it the mass crypto adoption expands more).Nowever,I don't believe that bitcoin will ever reach the 1 trillion USD market cap.

Where is my ring of blades...
why would you even doubt that?
usually all the discussions and lack of agreement is about timing of it. for example someone says bitcoin will reach $50k-$60k ($1 trillion market cap which nobody cares about MC) by the end of the year and someone else says by the end of 2019 and ... but they all agree that price is rising up and it is just a start.

bitcoin adoption has not yet reached its childhood stage let alone maturity. with adoption growing and the supply still being scarce, the price will continue to go up. unless you think adoption is not going to grow as the reason for your doubt in which case I would like to know why you think that?

A Trillion Dollar market cap is easily achievable if large Stock Markets allow Bitcoin to be traded as a Commodity or even if one of the large ecommerce sites starts to accept Bitcoin as a payment option.

One Killer application can even push us into a Trillion Dollar market cap, under the right circumstances or if one of the large franchise like Mc Donalds or KFC start to accept Bitcoin as a payment method.  Grin

commodity??!  a commodity is a raw material used to create other products
oill=car fuel/plastic
wheat=bread/cereal
gold=electronics/jewellery

i hope you mean ASSET (forex currencies, stocks, shares, property)

no one cares about market cap
anyone can make a 1trillion cap coin. buy just 1 coin for $5 and instantly have a $5trillion cap. with only an investment of $5
in short. anyone can create a $5trillion cap market for just 5 decent loaves of american bread

...
"constant decline in value"!??

um no
you mean price. and even then its not been constant decline..

if you just cut away hype TEMPORARY event of november 12th-february 5th
as those prices were just hyp/bubble/speculation prices in that period.

and treat it as the anomily it is..

and the just draw a line straight across from november 12th february 5th you will see a much different picture.

stop standing at the very peak of mount everest looking down as if everyone should be living at the peak and everyone should worry about falling off..
instead realise everyone lives at ground level and looks up.

value is hidden at the bottom/groundlvel. and then things like specupation/motion/profiterinig goes ontop.

now. do some maths on cost of mining. you will start to se my point about ground level. ...
then overlay the cost of mining and you will see some correlation..

now ignore all price chart trends anals..
use the hashrate chart instead and draw some predictive lines of future direction..
pick a date on that line and do the mining costs calculations on it. and you will see the bottomlin value bitcoin might be at that time.

no one can predict the highs. or when the next ATH PRICE will be.. but some can if done well look at where the new lows(value) could sit in the future

I'm not sure about Bitcoin (and every other coins), but I believe that whole coinmarket will reach caps much more than 1.000.000.000.000$ in middle-term. So, don't keep all your capitals in BTC, don't forget about altcoins too.

Yes we will hit 1 trillion sure as the sun is coming up tomorrow.  I won't be surprised if we hit 1 trillion by the end of the year.  It all depends when the regulators let us off the hook and let things run.

I know there's a lot to happen in the cryptocurrency space, so maybe that is a possibility. Crypto currencies are still young and there's more to improve.

The current time of the present, the Bitcoin value of the highest peak achieved in the amount of copper is present in the market. If the key value of the Bitcoin value at that time, we think in just five years, the total amount of Bitcoin values will receive a different dollar amount. Although Bitcoin does not currently compete in competitive pricing and fixed pricing, Bitcoin may in the future be a direct prefix to dong developments in the future.

Bitcoin has been on a constant decline in value ever since 2018 started.
no it hasn't been.
the main bulk of the decline happened during December last year and continued until February (3 months) and basically ever since June, drop has not been happening. we have been stuck at the bottom which is around $6k.

Most say it has been a result of government regulations, others say that whales are manipulating the market, and some say that it's the result of FUD within the cryptocurrency markets.
it is mainly the result of the $20k bubble burst followed by FUD, panic and manipulation.

However, given that Bitcoin was designed to be scarce or limited in supply, it could become much more valuable in the future.
it will become more valuable in the future because it has limited supply and it is useful so its adoption (aka demand) is increasing, otherwise having limited supply means nothing without an increasing demand. that is why bitcoin is rising while other altcoins with similar design are falling.

why use market cap? why not just talk about price which has actual meaning?
you are talking about a price around $55,000, you see now it has a much better meaning than $1 trillion market cap. and it will happen in 2020 tops and it is possible that it happens mid 2019.
