There are countries in Southeast Asia that legalized cryptocurrencies already like the Philippines. But I'm not sure if whole southeast Asia will legalize cryptocurrencies. This is quite impossible because China already banned cryptocurrencies in their country.

Crypto friendly countries would surely declare its legalization of crypto. However, we are not sure yet if all countries im Southeast asia would adopt crypto. We cannot blame government who doesn't want change. Let us all hope for the best with crypto adoption

I think here in our country btc is legal. There are several establishments here are accepting btc as a mode of payments. Especially the services like Telcos, the power services, and water services. And our government is planning to recognize btc as one of the currency. I think they're planning to impose a tax collection on it.

I am live in Indonesia and right now my government still not regulate bitcoin for payment but if for trade, its allowed. I am believe when G20 member meeting regulate cryptocurrency, south east asia country will following to regulate crypto market

On my opinion, legal or not bitcoin do already have an impact to the countries in southeast Asia. There are some establishment that starting to accept bitcoin as mode of payment. Though the acceptance of bitcoin is not stringer enough than the other western countries, but it is starting to change since bitcoin is starting to take off the countries in southeast asia. Let just wait for further happenings.

Because usually there is a county community, it means if one country accept bitcoin another country usually will follow it. But ofcourse it depends in the country policy and legality. Bitcoin in southeast Asia is not illegal. It doesn't mean that it does not publicized by government it means that it is not legal. What a logic. Bitcoin is very legal here in southeast Asia like in my country Philippines where there are many cryptocurrency users specially bitcoin. Many people here in Philippines are knowledgeable in every aspects of bitcoin that is why many people here are also successful in the digital world. Please do you research and don't tell a statement if you are uncertain it. Bitcoin will not be legal in southeast Asia because it is already legal.
Asia is one of the continents with the largest percentage of the world's population and it turns out that majority of them are crypto enthusiasts. As such, legalizing Bitcoin in the Southeast will cause another significant positive impact in Bitcoin and just as the South Koreans have legalized it, it is bound that the others will follow soon.
