All of that depends on the policies of each country in Southeast Asia. If it is felt in terms of legalizing bitcoin will provide more benefits than losses, it is not impossible that countries in Southeast Asia will legalize bitcoin quickly.

It seems nowadays every country in southeast asia is thinking of legalizing bitcoin, they are looking for profits and losses in every bitcoin use, I think the bitcoin seems to be legal in every country in southeast asia.

in Southeast Asia, there are still many countries whose governments still have very little trust in bitcoin and also a lot of very strict rules regarding the rules of payment with bitcoin currencies in Southeast Asia countries.
Here in our country bitcoin is legal. Some of the pawnshops accept bitcoin payment. Right now in our country, bitcoin is not that popular and many people thought about bitcoin is illegal and used to buy illegal things. But still bitcoin have different advantage also that can benefit. I know that there are lot of southeast asian here in this forum and i guess they are looking forward to use more bitcoin to buy different things such as good and items. An example is Indonesia, in Indonesia there are a lot of people who work in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, ranging from trading, investing, mining, participating in bounties and so on. yes there are still in the southeast Asian countries that have not legalized bitcoin. we as a bitcoin community must try to get people in Southeast Asia to legalize bitcoin, I think we can do it by inviting friends in Southeast Asia to join the crypto market and we also make things that can motivate people to legalize bitcoin.

Yes, there are still some countries in asia that though they did not legalized bitcoin they also not telling it that bitcoin is illegal, for now maybe other countries still don't have time to interfere with cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin has the potential to have a big impact in Southeast Asia because most people do not have access to banking services and a large market for remittances. Although the Bitcoin ecosystem in the region is largely underdeveloped, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam are countries that have more promising opportunities thanks to the profitable markets and the progress they make in the Bitcoin ecosystem. The country is also the third most populous country in Southeast Asia.
It will be legal later, the thing is it's easier to accept new innovation like this in developed country rather than developing countries. Most of the country in Southeast asia are developing country so they will be extra careful to legalize something that can disrupt financial instrument. They will most likely wait for another country to legalize crypto first and wait for the result before going to do that themselves.
