if nothing bad happens 20.000$ should be the realistic price come 2020-2021
probably not the six figures many expecting or equally unrealistic 50-60k , but 200% increase is nothing impossible for bitcoin
It might shock you, but reaching $20,000 from where we are today is harder than reaching $60,000 the moment we break $20,000.
Currently there are so many resistance levels below the all time high that we have to chew through, that it will likely take longer than people expect to break it. Whenever we finally break $20,000 I honestly don't have a clue where we will peak out. It could just as easily peak out somewhere above the $100,000 level, and that would still be a relatively weak bull run.
Markets in general, whenever they break their all time high, they tend to keep increasing for years non-stop. Every dip you are presented will be a blessing to buy into, similar to what we saw happen in 2017 with Bitcoin. These are the dips to buy, not the ones when the trend is about to reverse.
This has a lot to do with the psychology of the markets, there is going to be a huge resistance to reach that all time high because people are going to be very skeptical and they are going to take every opportunity to sell bitcoin for a profit but once bitcoin surpasses its all time high even if it is for a single dollar the mentality of the people in the market is going to change completely, instead of doubting bitcoin their thoughts will change to the potential profits that they can get.
And at that point the sky is the limit, a huge bubble is going to form regardless of how overvalued bitcoin becomes at that point and people will keep buying it for the fear of missing out.
