I dont think bnb will be the mother of altcoin, bmb has competition with ada cardano and polkadot. And both coin are have big chance to become the mother of altcoin. Gavin wood with his Dot is the best and decentralised nodes now.
Yes, I think BNB is being overly rumored and becoming flashy. The momentary vibration caused all to pour numbers into BNB with magic. Although BSC got off to an impressive start when a number of companies chose to run away from ETH because of exhaustion from gas fees, it was just a trend. Dot's compatibility makes it possible to extend further, but ETH is still the king of altcoins for a very long time.
My BNB looks at it as a runaway because of the eth about its vibes, because BNB only has 200 nodes worldwide and that's too few to be an altcoin king, and that puts security down. If the problem of costs on eth is resolved, many will return to eth and override BNB.
Bnb being the king of all coin simple means that the coin would have to replace bitcoin and that seems very difficult, if not impossible to me. Bnb has been doing so well lately and I know that the project is loaded with great potentials, but that doesn't mean that it would supercede the raining king which is bitcoin.

I don't think BNB is that fast any more and besides the gas fee has also increased over the years, currently it cost about $0.24 per transaction last time I checked though, who knows if the transaction might rise till $1 someday, eventually the gas fee might go over a dollar, so I think Ethereum will remain king over all altcoins, bnb might remain as third in coin ranking who knows, although I'm bullish on bnb after the last burn.

Anything is possible, BNB now competes with ETH. BSC network multiple times less expensive and quicker, just look at the number of users using their dapps. Binance has had a decent run recently and I've a little holding that’s now in good profit. It’s a good time to take some profit and shift from ETH or keep holding as it’s still a long way to go.
That is right BNB competes with ETH right now, but it will not easy for BNB to overtake ETH and l think it is just impossible for BNB to do it. But as you above mentioned anything is possible, maybe after years we will see that BNB overtakes ETH. It is the best time to take some profit from BNB investment, that is why the price is increasing step by step. No doubt BNB keeps getting up, but for me, ETH is also one of the best ways of making money. ETH has shown the best result since the beginning of this year and ETH has reached 2k, this price is the ATH and there is the only bad side of ETH, it is a high fee. Due to the high gas fee, people prefer investing in other currencies. Overtaking ETH is unlikely at this point. I expect more cooperation than competition actually. ETH's ecosystem is huge and the best of the best are working on it.
