How can you think that bitcoin would drop for even at 2000$ while the current price for now is almost reaching for 4000$? It's pathetic though to drop for that far since I think those past fall is so enough for the whales to buy more for there own good and look what happen now they are earning so good for this current pump and expect that there are more pumps to come.

I felt like I missed a great opportunity at selling high and buying low when it reached 5k and drop to 4k a couple of days ago. Now it happened again from 4k to 3k. You think it will happen a third time, from 3k to 2k?

Currently it is extremely unlikely that it will go anywhere below $3000 this month, because the pumpers seem to be back at it again and taking the opportunity to buy  at any price below the $4000 margin/line.

Even though right now we have bounced back from the weekly high we are still up $900 or more from the dump.

$2k would be hell of a buy. I'd buy up all of the coins i can afford if it went down to $2k Tongue

I think so, maybe even down to 1k. At the moment it doesn't look good for btc.

The bubble had to clap apart some day..
I think this is something nearly impossible to happen in the coming days. We never know what will happen in the future and that is absolutely right that future is uncertain and we cannot predict what will happen next. But saying this that it will drop to such a significant amount will be something unjust.
It's holding steady for the last 3-4 days. Let's see how it goes. Personally I think it will fallback to $2800 levels before recovering again.

The price is going down further to $3000. But its really hard to think that bitcoin could go lower or near $2000. I'm hoping that the support level at $3000 will be strong enough. But if it collapses in the coming days, then most likely that $2000 will be the last stop before we can see some semblance of a rally. The China news that BTCC is shutting down its operations add another drama that cause another dump. Imagine if Huobi and OKCoin followed as well, we will having the same reaction. But for me this is just temporary and I hope that we can recover again.

I do not think it will reach the 1000 $ point but we do need to worry because the current price hike is the most severe in the history of bitcoin.

It would be nice a little under $1000 before end of year.
Good traders are seen when it goes down...

Nowbody can really know this but I shure hope it does and even below 2k. This way all the weak handshake will be shaken out of the system.

We are seing this "China ban" again and again and always with the same result. Slowly, but shurely, the market will be mature enought not to overreact on news like this.

No one can't say for sure, we all just can guess what will happen but I don't think so. My prediction is that bitcoin price will remain around 3000$ for the next couple of weeks but after that the price will start to get up again. Selling at this moment can't do anything good to anyone so let's just be patient and see what is going to happen.

I don't think so. Because mining activities wouldn't be profitable at 1 btc=$2k clearly.

It will rise again.

I do not expect such a drop in my opinion, but it could be everything in this cryptoworld.prices are so instantaneous that they have fallen even further from every point I want to get an appropriate price.I think this is exactly what they are doing from us.they want us to panic and harm in this way.I want to get a BTC from a convenient spot, but for the moment I can not predict that point.I will watch this hurricane for a few more days and then I will decide what to do next.I did not fully understand the events at first and thought that this price drop was sudden and I invested a lot in order to make a profit. I think now I wish I had made gradual purchases.

from 4500 USD to 2000 USD price drop is still possible, bitcoin is so volatile. High demands causes the price surge and only the larger mining pools, the high volume exchange platforms, the whales and spoofer has the power to control the price. A 200 to 300 percent price drop is still bearable. same thing happen during the downfall of mtgox from 1800 usd down to 500 and in less than a year it goes down to 200 usd. so if you ask again will it reach to 2k, the answer is yes .

Will we dont know what will happen in the coming days like the sudden drop for just a week we never expect that but if the bitcoin value will reach to $2000  and below i believed lots of investor will come out to buy bitcoins including me in a huge amount and hoard. I know lots of people out there are wanting somehow that bitcoin value will lower so that they could ride on board  if the value will rise again so this will be the moment of long waiting bitcoin will be affordable again.

Even though this is a bad time for Cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoins with regards to the ban of ICOs in China and the notice by major Chinese exchanges indicating their temporary close down. Most people are now selling and converting to fiat.
I don't see Bitcoin going down below 2k and even if it does, it's not a reason to panic.
You can actually buy more now if you wish to.

No one can be certain Be certain how low this bear run could get. Why not just buy now, when it drops again, buy the dip again. That is a good strategy. We are at the lowest since the bull run so it is a very good time to buy.

Unrealistic,
You do not undertand about how economy works, and absolutely lack of understanding about Bitcoin.
If we really hit $1000,we can say it's the end of the cryptoworld.do you understand how much is it ? From $5000 to $1000 ? It's more than 200%.
And how much money will lose if the price goes down that deep ? And how much people will suffer because of it ? Lastly what will goverment do if something like that will happen ?
(Look at the miners expenses, and Bitcoin users)
$2000 is understandable, and i believe it will no goes down more than that, you should know the reason why would this dump happen right ?

Bitcoin is not a bubble, and I really think you have a lack of understanding about how bitcoin works in order to say that. I really don't think it will go to 2k again, but even if it goes there I don't think it will be a problem. People are just panic selling now, because the major China exchanges already said they will suspend trading at the end of the month. But they will get a license eventually and re-open and things will just go back to normal. This is not the end for BTC, I think it's just a good opportunity to buy again at a cheap price.

If there will be other supporters of by who would want to invest in it then it won't drop. Cause right that btc needs are investors and really money to keep btc. I don't see it crashing but it would take time also to recover if there are no investors or miners to keep by on track. A lot of percentage was lost when China announced the news and its gonna take a lot of percentage also to recover.
