There is nothing news or a powerful thing to bring bitcoin at $700 in addition to halving I think.
$700 could happen some time in second quarter of 2016. The price will stay low for the time being.
The price is going down now, it could drop below $350 very soon. It is possible to go even lower.
All these people saying the price will break everything and the moon is near and everything like that...
Well I don't see your moon, I see a slow lowering trend that, I hope, will start to rise again a bit!

$700 could happen some time in second quarter of 2016. The price will stay low for the time being.
The price is going down now, it could drop below $350 very soon. It is possible to go even lower.

very easy to reach $700 before february 1? you really have no idea about how markets work. if it was really that easy, then we would already be at that price level. we might be happy to see the price stay slightly above $400 when we enter february. i hope your wrong prediction won't make you upset and sell at a loss. keep holding and who knows, we might reach $700 later this year once the block halving has been completed. patience is the key to profit.
Actually it's possible even with only few days remaining before February. Really a BIG BIG BIG news is needed here to pump it to $700.
But let's erase that thinking for the moment since chances are very low for that to happen now.

No way it will be $700 later this month. It is just 3 days away and the bitcoin price is still below $400.
We can see this for sure this year I believe that. There are many rotating speculations with some nice backups that price will boom this year because of the halving. No bad news can stop the rise.

then it will be around april, because segwit is expected to be released there, i'm also expecting an huge rally before the halving around may at worst case scenario

$600 for this month was too high to become reality. Even $500 will be very difficult to reach as this dump made people buy at sub $400 prices, and thus there will be more sellers when we approach $500 the comming month(s). The bad news from Cryptsy and Mike Hearn was just a small bump in our road to $500, but we'll be there eventually. Patience is needed here.
If there's a bad news, there's also a good news that will lead to cause of big pump. $600 is still possible because still we are in January. We don't know what will happen to price.
You realize we are on January 21st right? That means only 10 days till February. And not necessarily good news come after bad news, we may see bigger dumps, no one knows for sure.
Like you said, "no one knows for sure". So still if we are in January chances are there even at small percentage. Let's stop talking about $600 this month if we are on February.
