The $400 barrier is a quite tough barrier there are large sell orders placed at the $400 mark.
Seeing the recent price moving upwards, I am a bit optimistic about btc reaching till $280 or so, but I don't think price can continue being stable after that. What are you guys' opinion on this?

At $6 away from the target, $400 doesn't actually seem very far.

Yes, $2 shy from a $400 on Bitfinex. We are red hot! And the thing is that we are not even sure what's pushing us up. I mean, there are many rumors, but nothing official was leaked yet.
Then again, maybe many good news that we had an opportunity to hear in the last few weeks are just the power behind this amazing run so far.
Bitcoin passed 385$ limit today which is really surprising, things going so fast and i think bitcoin price will reach 400$ before 5 November.
I only hope that the price remain stable or increase, we can dream of 550-600$ before 2016

Only 3 days has passed since the start of November and now the price are around $380 now. So if the trend will continue and no more pointed things that will pop out the bubble then definitely the $400 target for this month is easy to breached. If this current trend will apply to a literal case (as in no negative thing that will decrease the price) , the maximum potential of the price for this month is around $600-$700 mark. Sounds unrealistic but it's possible literally.

i see that china has reached $400 already. it's now a matter of waiting for other exchanges to do the same this week. we need a bit more patience.

Yes i am agreed with you $400 is not potential barrier at the moment it can passed at any time as like trend is going up with this positive rise, $600-$800 is potential rise for this month hopefully we will get this before end of the current month.

OMG the price! Never expected this to happen. Hope lowest peaks will rise more. Look like we all have a Happy Christmas. If the current rally continues,let's say today up to the next upcoming days are like this trend (hopefully

Its odd because we do not really know what is the cause of this rally. But now we're at $370 and still breaking expectations and reaching new highs.

It is kind of funny that this thread has already been renamed once or twice and will need to be renamed yet again due to the frantic pace of appreciation.
Either way it does feel exponential now as the pace of price appreciation is picking up a lot more than over the last six weeks.

Yep and if the trend stays the same we can even reach a higher price which we thought before as impossible at a short period of time. Investors are really doing a great job in pumping the price. I wonder what will be their next move when they reach a designated price. I hope people will not start dumping everything after the price increase tho. Greed will do no good for the bitcoin community.
