People are having difficulty getting 1000 bytecoins for .2 bitcoins. So I don't think 1.5 Euro is going to make it.

Because why should i bother ? 0.2 Btc ? Pffft... for this sum its not worth it to give you my worthless bytecoins... moving my mouse has a price , too !

if 30 dollars is no big deal to you than you must be a lot wealthier than me.

Nope .... We need something other than carbon copy clones .... Cloning implies stagnation not froth or innovation.

Do we need another company to clone apple?Wink

yes it would be great if a company could clone apple, then apple would have to bring its prices down.

no point giving scamcoins a chance Smiley

yes they were designed as scam coins, clearly with all these sock puppet accounts floating around. But that doesnt change he fact that bytecoin is a good idea, really there is definitely room for one carbon copy of bitcoin in the market. If for no other reason than to give the gamblers a dedicated chain for all their spamming.

We should give bytecoin a chance, bitcoin is opensource, so it has to deal wit 1:1 copies. But I have to agree, that the name of bytecoin could be confusing for beginners.

I fail to see what you want to convey in your post. BTE is simply there, period. That's a free market and the market doesn't care whether we like it or not. Yes, there are other coins but this seems to be an exact copy of BTC giving extra attention to the fact that Bitcoin is not protected as a concept.

I wanted to point out that BTC will have to manage with exact copies out there and in my personal opinion the birth of BTE provides an unique view on what happens with exact clones. Again, I would like to stress it's about the protocol, not so much the value or type of coin. Only is there's sufficient adaptation, the coin of choice has a future.

I'm excited about this; are you?

I wanted to skip this post, I really did, but there's just so much wrong with it I couldn't help myself. Forgive me if I seem like I'm "attacking" you, but the amount of ByteCoin sockpuppet shills is staggering.

A copy of Bitcoin was bound to happen anyway.

It already has, dozens of times.

Bitcoin must be able to cope with that so we might as well try it ourselves.
We should participate in a pump-and-dump scheme because it looks like our own pump-and-dump scheme?

In the end, it's not about becoming a BTC millionaire but about making hassle free 24/7 unrestricted payments.
This is true. Have you tried Ripple yet?

Couldn't care less whether I have to pay with LTC, BTC or Bytecoin in the future since it is all interchangeable.
Last time I checked, no, they weren't interchangeable, at least not with any amount of ease. Only BTC>LTC, LTC>BTC.

We don't have a problem with 100+ PDF readers either.
The value of the PDF doesn't change by what reader you use. This analogy is completely nonsensical.

The market will sort this out. We don't have a problem with 100+ PDF readers either.
