I think this is not possible for crypto will go to zero because larger investors traders people still alive so don't be upset. Actually people more confused when the market going to red dump but smart people never angry about it. Even smart people always want to enjoy when the market take dump situation.

It will really become zero when something replace it. A new technology that can make a super speed transaction with almost no fee or zero fees.
But right now, cryptocurrency is still the best payment with decentralized system. So it won't die in near future

I think cryptocurrencies won't go to zero for a long time. As long as there is interest from investors, as long as cryptocurrencies develop and offer interesting solutions to the community, cryptocurrencies will be in demand. And as for the blockchain technology itself, different countries themselves are beginning to introduce it into their infrastructure, so blockchain definitely has a future.

That's certainly true, mate. With a lot of people supporting Blockchain technology, and governments taking a part on the tech's future direction, I don't see crypto going anywhere soon. I believe that saying "crypto is going to zero" is a result of FUD. Sometimes I wonder why Vitalik came with such phrase in the first place. If he truly believes that crypto is the future of money, then he should've said that crypto will be here to stay. Perhaps, Ethereum's founder was disappointed with crypto's current situation in the long-standing bear market that began back in 2018.

As long as governments and central banks find crypto's inherent technology interesting for the improvement of the current economic system, crypto won't be going to zero in a long time. Many cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum will retain their value for years to come as they deliver top-notch development and innovation. They're still useful for the mainstream world, no matter what other people say. With institutional investors coming into play soon, it's hoped that the whole crypto market will be worth a $1 Trillion Dollars within the not-so-distant future. Once that happens, then many early adopters of crypto will become rich.

Nonetheless, it takes time and a lot of hard work to be able to see positive results within crypto land. As long as we do our part to support the entire Blockchain infrastructure, cryptocurrencies will never go to zero (in terms of pricing). Just my thoughts Grin

That is so impossible considering the fact that crypto is the new generation smart currency, this is revolution which can not be stop, although cryptocurrency is still going to face alot of challenges but at the end it will rather move from zero to hero. #CryptoWeStand
Cryoptocurrency that does not have a product is very likely to have no future even the price could go down 100%, now it has been proven that so many projects have failed due to the unrealized products they previously offered. only they see trading alone and it's not easy

The only thing that will turn into complete zero are the shit coins. Those are never here to stay and will go away sooner or later. About crypto, I think going to an absolute zero for crypto is near to impossible, since there will always be people who will be interested in trading and investing in crypto.

And the problem is that the vast majority of the cryptocurrencies that we have right now (~10,000 different ones) are shitcoins. There are several types of shitcoins. The most common type is consisted of copycats. Scammers copy whitepaper and code from some of the more popular coins and then create their own coin. After dumping them during pumps, the scammers will exit these coins. Then the second type is consisted of coins that have their own code, but with no active development activity. At the beginning, many of these projects looked promising. In most of these cases, the promoters have vanished long back after accumulating money through pump and dump cycles and they are no longer interested in the development. Some of the investors, who refrained from selling their coins or tokens during the pump will be stuck with these assets.

Back in the day, Vitalik once said that crypto will be going to zero. There has been many concerns about the longevity of cryptocurrency as a serious form of money, given that it's relatively unstable within the mainstream world. It's been 10 years since Bitcoin was created where crypto has had its ups and downs. However, many are afraid that crypto will be going to zero as the blockchain hype ends and governments start rolling their own digital currencies. When we take a look at most cryptocurrencies on the market, most of them aren't even useful at all. Perhaps, the only one is Bitcoin but it's terrible as a currency for daily transactions.

Which is why, I'm starting to wonder if crypto will really go to zero in the future? If this happens, then most of us will lose our hard-earned money as crypto becomes worthless. What are your thoughts? Huh

I don't think so. and I think instead the value of bitcoin will not be zero. because if we look at the number of traders and users of bitcoin every year is always increasing while the number of available bitcoin (still mined) is getting smaller. This happens because the number of bitcoins is limited to only 21 million coins. and now 18 million coins have been circulated. if we use economic law, of course in the future the price of bitcoin will be higher because demand is more than supply.

i have read a great quote about cryptocurrency say like this :

Quote
"if internet still alive blockchain and cryptocurrency are never die"

i don't know write this great quote, but i agree with him, when as long as the internet in the world is still active cryptocurrency are never die, when no one can kill them

That's really possible as the existence of blockchain is operating through the use of technology nowadays, so it'll be hard for it to cease to exist in just a blink of an eye. Anyway, hope it won't go down to zero. There's still a lot of people who leave their future to the hands of the Blockchain for this to be financially independent and stable in the future.

Crypto has a large community and enthusiasts, it is not impossible that crypto will be going to zero but the possibility is very small considering there have been many adoptions
and there are always lots of new projects every day that make crypto more familiar

I am so certain that cryptocurrency will not go to zero but rather remain stable or evolve. The world's technology advancement is moving too fast already. Quantum technologies, virtual realities etc and only a digital asset can match this pace which is what crypto will bring. We should actually look forward to crypto adoption rather than crypto annihilation

no, crypto will always have value even in the event of a fall. You know the dominance of crypto currently exists in bitcoin. so if crypto falls to zero then it means bitcoin is worthless. then is that possible ?, I don't think it's possible, because bitcoin is already an important part of the internet.

I completely agree, yes, there were falls and very strong, I think it is still possible in the crypto market, but a complete disappearance will never happen while the Internet exists

To be zero I don't think that is possible with cryptocurrency because not all cryptocurrency is bad if it is invested. it all depends on their belief to make the investment. whether they believe or not that the development of cryptocurrency is pretty good, the outline that not all is good and not all is bad

I think if crypto were ever going to become worthless, it would have happened in the earliest days of bitcoin and altcoins, probably in 2011 or thereabouts.  But here we are 10 years later and look at the price bitcoin is trading at and remember that it basically started out at zero.

Altcoins I have less confidence in, because I do think that a *lot* of them are going to become worthless eventually, and it's always been in my head that the vast majority of them serve no purpose whatsoever.  Traders will eventually get tired of them, and miners will stop mining them.  Not all of them, tho.  Eth, litecoin, dash, doge, and probably the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap will be survivors and won't go to zero.

So I wouldn't worry about losing all your money if you're heavily invested in crypto...but you have to pick the right coins.

Good crypto never go to zero, may shitcoin will die, but popular and strong no.

Shitcoin never lasts for a long time, but what is meant in the discussion of this topic is about the crypto space that has begun to decline in confidence, so that the potential returns to zero, it can be seen from current market conditions and the development of existing crypto projects currently.

Well it really depends on what is the zero everyone refer

As most people are here for the $ value increment, not all crypto will go $0 but most will go $0 (Getting replaced, couldn't achieve the goal, no use cases)
But if we were to ignore the $ value and focus on the key value of what the crypto is trying to benefit the ecosystem, then you can likely find tons of value there because of how blockchain is design

There are some circumstances that might stop the crypto for example a total banned of cryptocurrency from the government all over the world, losing internet connection forever and a World War between those big nations. So I think that the possibility of crypto going to zero or worthless is low since we have already a big community and supporters who will not let this happen, also day by day there are new comers who are getting involve in crypto industry after seeing it on different news portal.

I know that no government can ban crypto but the only thing that can kill crypto is if bitcoin failed somehow, this will bring down all the altcoins with a severe blow, i hope this won't happen though and since many big companies are using crypto as well just as Unicef is accepting btc and eth already i think crypto is safe
