I think cryptocurrencies won't go to zero for a long time. As long as there is interest from investors, as long as cryptocurrencies develop and offer interesting solutions to the community, cryptocurrencies will be in demand. And as for the blockchain technology itself, different countries themselves are beginning to introduce it into their infrastructure, so blockchain definitely has a future.
That's certainly true, mate. With a lot of people supporting Blockchain technology, and governments taking a part on the tech's future direction, I don't see crypto going anywhere soon. I believe that saying "crypto is going to zero" is a result of FUD. Sometimes I wonder why Vitalik came with such phrase in the first place. If he truly believes that crypto is the future of money, then he should've said that crypto will be here to stay. Perhaps, Ethereum's founder was disappointed with crypto's current situation in the long-standing bear market that began back in 2018.
As long as governments and central banks find crypto's inherent technology interesting for the improvement of the current economic system, crypto won't be going to zero in a long time. Many cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum will retain their value for years to come as they deliver top-notch development and innovation. They're still useful for the mainstream world, no matter what other people say. With institutional investors coming into play soon, it's hoped that the whole crypto market will be worth a $1 Trillion Dollars within the not-so-distant future. Once that happens, then many early adopters of crypto will become rich.
Nonetheless, it takes time and a lot of hard work to be able to see positive results within crypto land. As long as we do our part to support the entire Blockchain infrastructure, cryptocurrencies will never go to zero (in terms of pricing). Just my thoughts
