The popularity of cryptocurrencies has grown so much for the last year. Now almost every human being has heard of Bitcoin. More and more shops have enabled paying with crypto. The crytocurrencies are more convenient than the flat currencies and the big plus you are avoiding bank institutions. The privacy of paying with cryptocurrencies can be as a pron so a con. The transactions are more secure but they are hard to track down. In my opinion, cryptocurencies are the future and soon the main method of payment will be by them.

In any case, everything will come over time, since not only the business must adapt to new market conditions with the help of cryptocurrency, but people must also learn how to handle cryptocurrency.  At the moment, the cryptocurrency user community is still very small, but with the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies and the dissemination of information about the benefits of cryptocurrencies, I believe that humanity will be able to use cryptocurrency in everyday life quickly enough.
You're right, it is very difficult for business to adapt to the cryptocurrency market and the new structure for using cryptocurrency assets in business is a sweat. I think that at least another 3 years is needed for the business to adapt, so that the liquidity of cryptocurrency assets increases.

Cryptocurrencies are already an alternative payment method in many places, and although BTC is not perfect for small, instant transactions, there are many altcoins that do the job just fine. I expect that most big brands and supermarkets will soon start to accept and even encourage the usage of Cryptocurrencies. Have I missed an angle here or do you guys agree?

Just a month ago, giants like Starbucks, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, and AT&T announced that they accept cryptocurrency as a payment option.
With the  popularity that cryptocurrency is growing there is no doubt that it will soon be among other payment methods. Especially for the international payments, with its ridiculously low fee and time taken for inter-border transfers it is surely the favorite among the traders.
Also, with giants accepting it as a payment option there is no other need to prove its authenticity.

Do you own any cryptocurrency yet?

Crypto is already became an alternative mode of payment especially in countries where it is legalized like United States, Japan and more. However, there are still some countries who against crypto, they saw it as a threat or probably they haven' recognize its potential yet. I've only known rare cases where crypto used in a physical store like Starbucks because I was only known the online store but anyway this is the prove world and even business now acknowledges the existence of these coins. Crypto is gradually being a trend and that is great I guess.

Cryptocurrency is already an alternative payment option to several countries but not aren’t still adapting. You can pay your online shopping (but not all of them) and even travel bookings. You can even buy a new house as long as the you and the seller had the agreement. In US, BitPay has handled other real estate transactions, including a Lake Tahoe properties i believe.

Check the updated link for several retailers that are accepting crypto as alternative payment option.

yes you are right and i also have cryptocurrency. and several developed countries such as the United States, Japan and Korea have legalized bitcoin as a payment tool. I am sure that in the next 5 to 10 years many countries will adopt bitcoin as a means of payment. and lately we have heard that facebook will also create digital currencies (libra). this proves that cryptocurrency attracts many people to use digital currencies as an alternative payment option.

Only through global adoption it is possible to experience cryptocurrency as an alternate payment option. Until then based on the end users (sender and receiver) cryptocurrency transaction gets priority. Right now global transaction happening through cryptocurrencies doesn't contribute a big volume compared to the fiat and digital form of fiat transactions (debit/credit cards, online banking, payment applications authorized by banking services)

Global change happens slowly, and we're at the very beginning stage. Just ten years away from the day it got used, by this time there are many changes in the economic system happened due to the existence of cryptocurrency. Someday this could get priority as the alternate payment option.
Achieving as  part of alternative currency is already enough since crypto have its own place from the digital payment process.
Being recognized and use by people who happens to learn how things works from this system can multiply to more people who will also
adopt this payment process. It take time before we can fully say that it's a success, but being accepted will be a good start for more
future usage.

Actually cryptocurrency is already an alternate payment option that you can choose when paying online on some websites out there or even some physical stores out there.
Yes, of course, I do own some cryptocurrency namely Bitcoin, XRP and ETH. It is good to have any cryptocurrency stocked up right now when everything is still cheap because im sure when mass adoption comes prices will be different.
It is indeed become an alternative payment option on these days, and it is also being used to pay bills and buy different items in some countries through online websites. Its use widens when it become popular for the past few year and its really convenient using cryptocurrency than having a cash everytime you purchased outside of your house, and sometime its more hassle.

It is currently accepted as a payment method in some small companies. But of course it will take a while for it to spread. Lets take for example the creditcards- years ago creditcards were not a popular payment option but nowadays that is the most spreaded payment method. I believe that cryptocurrency will go the same way.

It's highly likely to happen. Just this day, I found a hotel and resort that now accepts bitcoin as payment. Everyday, cryptocurrency increases in popularity and there's no doubt more and more people are becoming aware of it by questioning and learning of it. This is good for crypto-market in general and it proves that bitcoin isn't just another instant-millionaire scam.

Most likely it can happen so that cryptocurrency really functions like a fiat currency, but does not completely replace the fiat currency.
cryptocurrency can only be used as an alternative payment option for various transactions, but do not yet know when it will occur in total and still requires a long time.

It is not a mainstream yet, but large and small businesses implementing blockchain technology more and more often. Cryptocurrencies hold an interesting potential as a means for cheap, quick and global payment transactions, so eventually it will be worldwide used as alternate payment option.

I should say yes. let's assume Bitcoin for some reason does become the world's new global currency. there is a non-insignificant chance it will happen. bitcoin can't handle the world's transactions currently on the base layer. No crypto can, none comes even close. But Bitcoin can handle the world's transactions on second and third layers. We can have multiple side-chains all pegged on the base layer serving various use cases. RSK will be used for deterministic contracts, Liquid will be used for high value fast transactions between exchanges and import/export companies, Lightning Network can be used for everyday coffee payments, Coinbase and other similar Bitcoin banks can handle payrolls.

This system will allow Bitcoin to be stay fully decentralized and thus valuable as a safe haven against centralized systems, yet it will also allow for millions of transactions a second, and a very good user experience with instant virtually free transactions. If this happens we won't be counting in Bitcoins anymore, people will be counting in Satoshi as they will be easier to handle. In other words Bitcoin will appreciate beyond anyone's dreams.

Even most people don't use USDT(stable coin) as a daily payment. It is excellent for digital currency to be used for multinational large-value payment settlement. However, at the daily micropayment level, the market does not have this demand to use cryptocurrency, because this demand has been satisfactorily met by credit card、Alipay、paypal and so on.

Many Asian countries are already accepting payment through cryptocurrencies. Recently, UNICEF too started accepting donations in cryptocurrency. So yes, cryptocurrencies are working as an alternate mode of payment already. Though it isn't globally being used as a mode of payment because different economies and their outlook towards a new monetary system.
