As more and more people adapt and use cryptocurrencies, it's volatility may decrease over time. Right now we are still in an early phase. It's estimated that only around 50 million people hold cryptos.

One of the reasons for volatility is that Crypto investors are relatively young and inexperienced. Rather than focus on fundamentals like developer mindshare, network effects, scalability, roadmaps, etc and make long term bets based on them, they're just chasing hot numbers and looking to get rich overnight. I would venture to guess many young traders didn't even factor in taxes when trading during 2017, which may be the true cause of the panic selloff; folks are having to liquidate completely just to pay the tax man.

When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?
No think it will always be volatile. The price of bitcoin is also related to the laws of supply and demand. As there is more people who want to buy bitcoins, the price will obviously go up and if more people wanted to sell their bitcoins, the price will decrease. Because of people who buy bitcoins, the price is going up and if the price went up, there are more people that will likeley to sell their bitcoins thus making the price decrease again.

The volatility of cryptos I think will last forever , it is in this technology that it will always change from time to time, its not constant, the volatile of cryptos will always go with the market price value, whenever ther is rising up of the value in the market the cryptos is also in the rise , if there is fall in price , cryptos will also get lower value.

Older and Higher The X crypto market cap, they will be surely enough to be stable and not that volatile. When the prices so high then there is no choice for them to stay stable "for a while", because they will not just stay. The whale that got much of X cryptocoin could bring the drama again, when that happened, the stable and peaceful X cryptocoin would be volatile again. That's my opinion.

I think that is the nature of the cryptocurrency because we also know the development and increase or decrease it depends on sales and demand for the currency

Cryptocurrencies will remain volatile as long as it stays decentralize. The difference between stable fiat money and cryptocurrency is that fiat money has a government regulating it keeping it from going volatile. In the case of cryptocurrencies its volatile nature is because of the users of it, we're the one that decides what to do with bitcoin and doesn't have a real authority to stabilize it. Cryptos will remain volatile unless we can figure out something to manage it with an authority.

Why would they be sustainable? Cryptocurrencies due to such high volatility give a chance to make good money when trading.

Cryptocurrency stability will come when institutional investors and funds turn their attention to this market.

I think crytpo will have it’s volatile stage for quite some time,
it’s unstable most of it but when it does make permanent and
strong price impacts, it might not be volatile for long. Bitcoin
might be the leading currecy to break away from volatility,
if crypto becomes regulated as people predict it to be a lot
the strong and promising currencies today might be stable
in the future.

I don't expect the stability will start in the near future. Cryptocurrencies will always be characterized by strong volatility due to young startups.

In general, confusion and general confusion is a natural consequence of a situation in which no one person or group of people is responsible for solving the technical and commercial problems that have emerged due to the success of the crypto currency. This can be a minor hindrance before groups with different interests and ideology reunite, or a sign that the future of bitcoin is threatened.
first of all, must still realize What future should be in bitcoin. And even then it will be possible to judge the prospects or the threat of crypto currency in the future. To date, it is clear that almost every sphere of human life has to do with the crypto currency, so the future for the crypto currency is predetermined.

I also believe i that, there are so many people around really trust in bitcoin, so then the possibility to increase is always there in the line. I am also hoping that this crypto currencies will become more stable when the total capitalization reach its logica limits.

When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?

It is evident that as the market grows and more institutional capitals are interested in investing in it, it will be increasingly difficult to manipulate prices as has been happening so far, as the current capitalization is still so relatively small that it is not difficult for the great whales to use the market as a pump and dump scheme to make money through manipulation.

Therefore, I believe that we will gradually see a less volatile and more stable market, and perhaps in the long term we will see bitcoin behaving in a way not so different from ordinary fiat currencies in the Forex market.
I also believe on that, I see that there are so many people around really trust in bitcoin, so then the possibility  to increase is always there on the line. And maybe someday bitcoin will be more usable and many of us will make bitcoin as a source of income. So then we can maybe see in the near future that bitcoin is slowly becoming  a fiat .

I hope crypto-currencies will become more stable when the total capitalization will reach its logical limits. Approximately 5-10 trillion $.

If the problem is not stable at this time reasonable, because now the currency crypto very dependent on the number of consumers. So if the question is forever unstable it will never happen

I think there is nothing stable if cryptocurrency has a limited total supply, if you want to stabilize the price it is very difficult the availability should be unlimited so making the coin is difficult to move means very stable.

as soon as the regulation comes I guess the volatility will be controled and the prices will become more stable as there won`t be too much changes in resistance and support levels.
