The most absurd reason to pump a coin, I will not put anything past the Chinese. The real issue is that doge, a much fun as it is does not offer much, so adoption is very low and only traders dabble in it. Years of the Dog include 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, and 2030. Will they pump it then too?
Don't keep your hopes too high, DOGE has had its time and great community support but in terms of utility there isn't much there.
However you never know, some crazy stuff happened this year with certain coins way less popular than DOGE so anything can happen.

There are too many coins in circulation. Palmer has 2014 removed the cap. Therefore, coins are always added. Bitcoin good. Doge good. Bitcoin bad. Doge bad
I'm hoping doge can come back as a top crypto because the current doge is very cheap compared to a month ago. I am sure that in 2018 the doge will be pumped by investors
Actually the development of doge follows bitcoin prices, although the price is stable but bitcoin prices are rising, so this coin has a dependence on bitcoin

there is no relationship and i find nothing interesting in it.
however it is obvious that altcoins, specially famous ones like Dogecoin get pumped every now and then. Doge had a very nice pump this year and won't have one for some time. which means it is a good assumption to say next pump may be in next year (2018).
but it is not a good idea to hold anything until then. Doge is one of those coins that will only go down in long term as you can see from its charts. try to invest before the pump that time, don't hold it all this time. you won't make any profit if you hold.
I don't see any future with dogecoin because there is no consistent projects or actions by the doge team and i think they just created dogecoin for fun and not for any serious reason. Dogecoin will be just part of the market but i don't think that it will pump in any year.

yes i think so, all coins not only dogecoin can be pumped, well take any decision if you want to invest doge then buy when the price is low and hold it until the price is pumped, and take advantage of that moment

That can't be a good reason to pump the dogecoin, What the hell are you saying about to pump the dogecoin caused by the dog year of china. Please give the better reason rather than just try to make a joke. It doesn't make sense for everyone in here.

That's not right, you should have strategy not because like that. Why you not try analyze prom price action history, volume or news speculation? it's worth than that. Besides that, 2018 is too far from now and today most coins was falling down. But it just me, all depend on you that your money. Good luck.

There is a possibility that dogecoin will be pumped in 2018 but I doubt it, I guess it will just stay on it's current levels and I am contented just the way it is now. Dogecoin is one of my favorite coin to use in terms of gambling and that's all there was to it. Many use doge just for gambling too. 
Hope so, too many scandals regarding the coin, its started as kind of dadaist project, but now its a little shame

every coin can not against the market, if the market is dump, how can dogecoin pump? more and more new comers pay little attention to old coins except btc or eth
