I do not think Economy will grow forever. There will be ups and downs in the economy evolution history. But maybe in the long term, it will always grow. But maybe for a few years, something happened and economy will go down. There can be tech bubbles or some kind of economy crisis.
Well the economy follows this cycle, referred to as the business cycle. Where we follow a pattern of boom and bust all the time, we will continue to follow this forever. Though we will ALSO continue to go higher and higher -- as the population of the world increases we're going to continue up this path of the market / economy growing. I'm not talking about astronomical gains, but overtime we will end up bigger then we were the decades ago.
With more people there are going to be more workers, more consumers, more this and more that. More people = a growing economy.
So yes. UNLESS we face some sort of supply issue where we can't sustain the number of people on earth.

As we can see that our technologies progressing as the time goes by. We cant deny that we have traveled so far. I mean we are in advance state in our technology. So for me this planet will continue upgrading and progressing as the goes by. But the worries is there if whats the effect of this in near future.
Just now people from this world get to know about blockchain technology. Like super car we see the blockchain technology also will be securing our data in the many world firms mate. Please refer the few companies already implemented this technology they did not loose the money at all so far.
But many fake news has been spreading throw out the forum and showing the blockchain technology picturing it wrong and hackable mate.
If they develop very well crypto will continue grow but not forever because I think there will be an end to crypto and hopefully it replaces by a more advance system that will help also people to change the way their lives is. Don't use the word forever because we people don't last forever, it's better to enjoy what we have right now because we don't know if there is crypto after we wake up tomorrow. I hold the view that the economy will continue to grow as long as there is human existence and there are people doing the valuation every time. They are the ones giving us the figures to conclude that the economy is growing based on two reasons.
1. We will always have advancement in every facet of our existence. Technology, education, sciences, trade, music, culture, politics etc. they will continue to get better and better and when they do, we tend to attach value to it which in turn means the economy is growing.
2. For the fixed resources, they will continue to increase because of the premium will place on it not because they are increasing on their own. A bar of gold or one btc is still the same it was say 5 years ago but the value has increased simply because we are the ones that give it the value and as long as this is applicable to everything, we tend to conclude in our statistics that the economy is growing.
Will it could possibly grow for now since there are many resources being discover, inventions that are efficient enough replacing the old ways on converting resources. However, it add up with cryptocurrency where this system help the efficiency of a certain organization by promoting decentralization that helps the consumer to get a low transaction fee as possible.
Am pretty sure that things can't stay forever including the planet earth we are living in, because this whole earth will get out just one single day. The Economy growth of any nation is not guarantee to stay forever including that of the U.S. Currently, the whole world is experiencing down-link Economical crises that put us in a state of food insufficiency. My personal opinion is; the Economy will not grow forever and will not go down forever.

I do not know if the economy are really growing or increasing since the one that is causing this is the people that are earning a lot of things from building corporations. With a lot of things that can be paid by people, investors and businessmen take this as an advantage to earn more money from consumers. I am not saying that economy are not growing but the people of that certain country are getting more and more richer as time progresses.
Day by day the economy will always grow but sometimes they downfall it depends on how the government works.
