Yes its possible and it can even reach $1000 ethereum is one of the best promising alt coins and if bitcoin investors will have to divert their investment I'm sure ethereum is one of their choices because for me its heading the path of bitcoin it is a good coin that can surely have a good value after some quite time and I also want to have it or invest on it
It might be your dream, but Ethereum price will stay around $500 even the Bitcoin price reaches to $12k. The other coins are too rising, but they all go down if the Bitcoin price goes dump.

We all have our own predictions, but it's hard to expect the market price growth.

It seems we will celebrate $10k per Bitcoin before Christmas, my wondering will Ether catch up? Maybe $750?
Or that will be hard?

500usd eth Seems more reasonable. With al those btc forks, btc is al hyped up. I think iT might top at 10k for a while.

looks like we headed in that direction of $10k per Bitcoin and I do not see ether catching up to bitcoin either but $750 could happen somewhere around next year.

-snip-

I don't think so. Bitcoin is almost $10,000 now, and ETH is around $450. For ethereum, it's a midle term action to get with $750. Not a fast one. But in 1 year term, ethereum will break $1,000 border down for sure.
I agree ethereum is a slow runner hope it wont take a year to breach $1000

I think it will happen very soon. BTC will be 10k for 1-2 weeks. The end of the year of ETH will be $ 750.

When bitcoin came up from $4000 to $6000, ethereum was still on the same price (Around $280 and $320) So that is the only proof that you need to understand that ethereum is not following bitcoin's price.

I dont know why you are always saying that bitcoin and altcoins are always the same thing, or that they both are following the same pattern, because that is not happening, well, at least for now.

So no, the price of ethereum will probably be at the same price as it is right now, maybe it will be $500, but i dont expect to see it at that price.

Just think about that bitcoin is now on $9200, there is less than a 8% to touch the $10000 mark.

There is no correlation between BTC and ETH price, so one reaching 10k doesn't mean the other will rise too.

I am certain that BTC will reach $10k this year, and pretty sure ETH is going to reach $500 this year as well.

In 2018 we will see both continue to rise, but I think ETH will rise much faster than BTC.

I think not only eth will price up due to bitcoin but also all coin will be improved with bitcoin. This is a good new for me because i invested in eth and some good coin either. Higher price means higher profit. Holding is a good up to this time

Nope, just look at the charts and on the market capitalizations, it is impossible for ethereum to reach $750 if bitcoin gets to $10000 just because of this:

Bitcoin needs only 30 billions of dollars more in it's capitalization to reach more than $10k, and people are always investing more on bitcoin, it means that ethereum is rising too, but a little bit more slowly than bitcoin.

Btc will touch $10k first, and ethereum will probably be at $500 - $550 each one, but dont expect to see it over $750 because that is not possible.

Refer to the K line in September. If the bitcoin is 10k usd, the price of eth should be able to reach about 750usd. You can make a lot of money by holding eth's expectations, or by investing eth in high quality ico.

Or that will be hard?

If you properly watch the market then you will come to know that when ever BTC is raising other altcoin even ether is also going in negative price, as user start to sell their altcoins and go for btc, when their will be dump or selling in BTC price that time you can see that ETH price can go high.

its possible to get that price for ethereum if the bitcoin reach 10k usd I truly believe ethereum as number one altcoin in the marketcap he always follow the price pump of the father which is the bitcoin.

hmm maybe yes and maybe not, i dont know ethereum price increasing because of what, but my predicition that ethereum is dont have correlation with bitcoin is the price of bitcoin is not connected with ethereum. so maybe etherum price will same when the bitcoin reached $10000

Bitcoin's price does not have a direct impact to Ether's price so it seemed to me that while bitcoin is going to an outrageous increase of price ETH value was struggling and starts to fall down, for me it will be hard for ETH to reach a $750 if everybody is focused at bitcoin reaching a $10k dollar value.

maybe another update will do that but for now there is no signals that may take Ether to $750 but bitcoin can
go to $10000 before christmas maybe even before December 1 with these bullish happening in the markets.
Ether is still young but have large community thats why the price is at $450, maybe when bitcoin dump eth may absorb the loss to make it $750 no one knows.

If true bitcoin comes to 1000 dollars. So ETH doesn't have to be 750 dollars. Eth certainly will rise, but depends on the market to buy, before September in bitcoin and eth ratio is 12:1, but now the gap widened, because a lot of money went to bitcoin, mainly waiting for candy caused.
