Ethereum has scaling issues on its own. I guess you did not notice how ETH was shut down the other day, because of an ICO?

ETH is simply an ICO machine. 90% of the traffic is just ICO, and 1% is Dapps. The price increase is due to need for ETH for ICO's.

I have to agree that eth is now becoming even popular and with it's upcoming change from PoW to PoS.

It's making eth hunters and traders to hoard more but still it can't defeat bitcoin.

Definitely not. At least bitcoin at the moment does not have an active major hard fork even though there probably will be in the future. But ethereum has its own big problem which is Ether classic, i think that ether classic will actually pick up some momentum and climb to around 1/4 of Ether's price in the very near future because Ether classic was the original ether, the ether that everyone bought at the crowdsale. But somehow people don't realise that and they keep on pumping ETH instead.

There is a chances that ETH can surpassed bitcoin, ETH itself got so many investors and so many things that been developed, now ETH only need the implementation and more popularity, this year the ETH growth is at a very good rate and in my opinion the growth is better than bitcoin, but to surpassed bitcoin ETH still need time

Why not, ethereum is new revolution in technology of blockchain, we can build projects on there be called dapps, that is more good than bitcoins blockchain, we can not build projects on bitcoins blockchain. What is your real question,will ether surpass bitcoin under what circumstances .If you are looking at the price then there wont be any chance in the near future ,if you are talking about the number of projects started with ETH,then it might and ether is used only for creating these sort of projects and it cannot be considered as a currency,so bitcoin tops everywhere.
