Actually, all of the price of the coin dropped not only the ethereum. Yea, it is disappointing but let us just understand the situation that it is a part of the market/economy. Sooner or later, the price will come back for sure.

Ethereum's price hike last year is too fast, that is why price correction is just normal. I think most investors will be really happy if they can grab some ethereum at it's cheapest possible price. Ethereum will still be one of the most trusted platform no matter how low it's price will be before this year ends.

Ethereum has tanked, along with almost everything else in the market, thanks to the Bitcoin Cash fiasco and also the over the counter sales of Bitcoin happening, allowing the big institutions to move in at a big discount, causing low liquidity in the markets and more and more investors pulling out. Also scam after scam ICOS are selling their eth for peanuts as they exit scam, along with other scams pulling the wool over many people's eyes.
