Ethereum has a lot of traction - I am sure it will see new highs. It has also garnered a lot of ICO's and Media attention.
However, unless they sort out scaleability, usability and transaction fees within the year I see another platform, like Waves, Lisk or Ardor taking number 2 capitalization slot.

No doubt etherium will pass 2000$ this year, this year will be the buying stage of all cryptos invest as many as you can specially on etherium its like bitcoin it has a lot of potential and lots of project this year. Who knows maybe it will surpass also the 2k$ target. Trillions of money will be invested this year again and imagine all coins will be loaded of this value of money so every crypto has the power to hit 2k$ just hold it for long term!
it is possible to hit 2000 USD per ETH this year, maybe in second quarter of 2018. there is a lot of project to implement in ethereum blockchian this year , ICOs and ERC tokens or coins that what makes ethereum very attractive.

I consider the etherium to be one of the most stable and reliable coins. A strong team that is constantly working on improving the project. A strong platform on the basis of which the ICO is conducted. In the near future, the transition to POS. I think in the spring the etherium will grow to $ 2000.

Im sure Vitalik has made great roadmap for the year 2018 because the spiking of ETH from the 770 to 1400 would have never been possible without any good development news. Ether in itself is top most currency around the alt coin and everyone knows it after the BTC. We know very well that different ICO projects run on this blockchain and after looking at the worst conditions of the BTC blockchain I'm sure people are going to see many ICO. The more they come int he market the more money people invest into ETH. Mr. Vitalik is very smart persona and I'm 100% sure that he knows the current situation very well and he gonna take the opportunity to rise ETH to all new heights. So yes 2K or more its really possible this year and it will never go down below 900, thats for sure.
I think it is possible though the current value of ethereum is still not stable and its going down. Sooner or later, ethereum will find a way to gain whats lost to it and it will surely leads to a continuously increasing value. 2018 might be good for ethereum just like the year 2017 in bitcoin.

Well.. Ethereum will break bitcoin. It is the future of the cryptocurrency. It already is showing a better speed then bitcoin lately and is more reliable and stable then bitcoin. Bitcoin because of the name is still the strongest coin but that won't be the case, may be at the end of this year. Things will be very different in my opinion. I think Bitcoin won't be the king anymore once the end of this year arrives.
Ethereum will cross 2000$ or abov ethis year because there is lots of events going to happen like Casper POS may implement with ethereum blockchain . And also lots of successful projects working on ethereum blockchain as well lots of ICO coming based on ethereum blockchain .

Ethereum, the best of altcoins is now going to give us game changer card. ETH is having potential to grow more than 2000 USD this year because it has already grabbed the attention of big investors. For investors the only thing that matters is getting profits and that too as much high as possible. Everyone knows that bitcoin is facing issues regarding the scale up and segwit is making really slow. This will restrict the growth of market as fast as it did last time. So for now onwards ETH would be major focus for everyone. I think its going to be fun to watch ETH grow big as it is our chance to earn big.
