Ripple has been rising high and high with time. This has been taking place as a result of Ripplenet getting increase in usage. More and more number of large scale networks getting partnered adds more power to XRP. Manipulation is part of cryptocurrency network, but people always State XRP as a completely manipulated growth. This isn't true and for the same there is more chance of XRP reaching $5 in the future.
It is very difficult to say how much the price of these currencies will rise if the crypto market is not stable the market is constantly changing and the prices of the currencies are changing the more pumps the market demands the more it pumps nothing can be said until it is stable. Other currencies in the crypto market increase in price depending on the price of bitcoin goes up further then the price of ripple currency will go up we have to wait patiently for investment.
The market is volatile but I believe it's a bit stable now compared to the past, it's just that sometimes when the market is overvalued due to hype, it needs to correct and we will see the price to fall down. However, it's been happening many times in the past that an altcoins and bitcoin can surprise us, even XRP, during the last bull run, it almost hit $5 IIRC, so it could surpass it's current ATH when a new bull run will come.

In the last 7 days, Ripple has experienced a decline of 12%,

I don't think Ripple will reach $ 5 any time soon, because the growth is very slow, yes even though from Sunday to Sunday it shows an increase but in a small amount, even so XRP is very good for long-term investment, because this coin very potential, maybe in 2 or 3 years this coin could reach $ 5 or $ 6, so for holders of this coin, hopefully you have to be patient if you want to gain profit

xrp is now back below $ 1. I think this is something that cannot be used as a benchmark if xrp seems still far from being able to get to the $ 5 position. I think the development of xrp is also very slow, but even so xrp is a good future token

now the price of Ripple has experienced a quite high increase from the previous price but the current pump price of ripple in my opinion is only a temporary impact due to the next year's xrp snapshot, and I think xrp will be difficult to reach prices above $ 1 before and after the snapshot happened, for me personally the increase in the price of xrp which reached $ 0.6 alone is very grateful because from the existing experience xrp is one of the hardest altcoins to experience pump prices in the market, to be honest I have a little xrp in my wallet and i hold it almost 8 months and finally now I can let go, it is not fun if your money is stuck long enough in a crypto.

You took the right decision of not selling the XRP at this moment. There is a Spark token distribution for the XRP holders on December 12. I think if bitcoin remains stable, XRP can give very good returns. Just keep holding XRP for few more days and see the result. Also use the trailing stop loss so that you don't miss any profit in case of unexpected dump.

Yes, it is unpredictable. With the upcoming XRP upgrade, the price is slowly going up but that is really difficult to even reach $2 at this point. It could be a price correction later on post-upgrade, so watchout for that. If people says "the history repeats itself" then there is a chance that in early 2021, there will be a huge correction or the worst case is price-crash. Hi Guys!
