I think it will not. There are many coins with much better properties than XRP. So instead of XRP, it would be better to give them your attention.

I don't think it will reach 5 ever. This coin is perfect in a low cost. It might return to 2.5 and even might reach 3 us dollar cap, but it won't grow more I think. But yeah it is only my opinion good luck to you

The only option left now is to wait and believe in technology. I think ripple has a clear use case and working with banking sector is always beneficial. Let's just hope it will come back to it's all time high and we can book some profit out of it. I think it will take 15-18 months to reach $5. I'm optimistic on ripple technology and use cases.

AS far as ripple is concerned, it might gain some weight if Bitcoin started growing and we are hopeful for the rise and that you will recover your money and might incur some good profit as well. Ripple this year has not performed well inspite when the btc price rose till 9k this coin did not had the relative movement in connection to btc. As a result many people have sold off this coin and moved to other coins which are more worthy and giving them a better return.
