When something is new look to its competition.

Do you think the dollar will get stronger or weaker?

Do you think something better is going to come along and out compete with it?

Those questions are much easier to answer and will help minimize the unknowns when analyzing bitcoin.

The real question is: Will Bitcoin succeed?
If the answer is yes, then any price is possible ...

How true!

Easily within 10 years.

The real question is, will it hit $10,000?

Or even $100,000?

My guess is yes and yes, but not for another 30-50 years.

I really think it's going to hit $1,000 in the next two years. (Hopefully sooner.) $10,000 - I'm hoping that happens in about 6 years. Then I can retire!  Wink

Maybe a $1000 mark when the gas costs $150 per gallon? Roll Eyes

Bitcoin don't have any relation with gas. I don't think it is possible.

The Chinese hold 7% of the US 17 trillion in debt (1.19 trillion). If they ever got tired of holding US fiat and cashed it in for bitcoin it translates to $110,000 for every Bitcoin already produced. The dollar amount would have to be higher since some of the already mined Bitcoins are forever gone.

I hope so... Because I feel late-to-the-game already. That kind of exchange rate would also hopefully attract more regular-ass-people = less people using fiat = less government/corporate control of the world.
