Banning of bitcoin is depends on the government of the country, which if the government of one country feels that the bitcoin may become a treat to their government then probably they will ban it. No one can stop Bitcoin because this is the future of the world industry. If they were completely banned, then maybe the market did not exist and we were all not here to talk about it. in every country have their own government regulations, some are prohibited and some do not prohibit. it all depends on the attitude and laws of each country, as in my country the government does not prohibit but also not recommend using bitcoin

It would depend on some great cou try like America China or Japan 's view around cryptocurrency. If they accept it other country would be standing in queue fir it. Also the reasong Governments does not want the crypto to be tradeable because they would be able to take Forex and normal tax

Bitcoin is not beneficial for polity. If your earnings are related to the crypto currency, the state can not know your real income, secondly the state does not receive taxes from you. So it's not surprising that different states have declared war on bitcoin.
Depends with the government in question. Governments have different policies on how to handle their national affairs and therefore cannot make decisions based on other governments's policies, some governments might Ban BTC while others will let them freely transact, it all depends on how a particular government views BTC
in my humble opinion government are already missing an opportunity to ban, kill or stop bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
I think is hard for government to ban bitcoin. Although bitcoin has some rumor that is not good but due to the anonymous feature of bitcoin, mostly will be hard to trace, thus is hard to ban.

I wouldn't say ban; I think many governments would try to control and regulate bitcoins, but even more so, I think many government would try to exploit and use bitcoins to their advantage knowing that it's a legit market that really can give a lot of big revenue. Right now, many governments are already trying their hand on it and are certainly harvesting the fruits of the risks they took. However, just like any other government it's part of their job to safeguard everyone; that's why every step they take in venturing in the market is well-planned.
The government can do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if they banned crapouillot. But I also understand that if they do, we will lag behind in development from other advanced countries, which understand that cryptocurrencies are the future.
I think that the government is now wary of bitcoin only because it is a new phenomenon, maybe for someone incomprehensible, and the rulers have not yet decided how to accept cryptocurrency on the territory of their country.
