The election is over, Trump had negative attitude towards bitcoin but what Biden's administration will bring to crypto. The fact that the Fed will continue printing $$ and new stimulus is coming is definitely good for bitcoin.
Never heard that president-elect Biden or someone from his camp made any public statement about bitcoin or crypto-technology, hopefully no tough regulations will be made.

Well,Biden and the democrats are leftists,so the taxes(including the taxes over our cryptocurrency profits) might go up.This is the only negative impact over the crypto industry I can think off.
Other than that,I don't believe that the Biden administration is going to be overall negative or positive towards Bitcoin and the altcoins.Maybe the regulations ,like KYC,will become more strict and the crypto enthusiasts will have to abide by new rules ,like proof of income source and proof of address, but I don't think that Biden will ban the crypto industry.

This same question i have in mind mate, though it is trump being open not supporting Bitcoin yet i think that it is too early to talk or expect from the new administration.
but let us not lose hope that Biden administration will support and allow the use of crypto Specially bitcoin to lead the adoption worldwide at last.
And also will open many areas not just PayPal but Amazon as well to accept bitcoin directly.
As much i know their wont be much change in the bitcoin for US ya but it can be that he may give some soft norms on bitcoin usage but still will keep more regulation for the security of the users.
Security regulation is a must, but at least lessen the restrictions for the community.

I think it's too early to speculate about it, for now, let us wait until President-elect Joe Biden assumes office, for now, let us enjoy the Bitcoin bullish market trend, and when the right time will come and Biden will say about his stance on cryptocurrency whether its pro or against, I believe it wouldn't create much impact to the market, The real problem will be the SEC for sure the crackdown and tougher regulation will continue even in the new administration.

I do not think that he will have a positive or negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies... In general, governments of any country do not approve of decentralization, the United States is no exception...

dont underestimate him. he will have his own research staff take care of that, whether crypto will be beneficial or not to the govt. right now, we dont know his stance towards crypto and doubt that we will ever get his clear disposition towards this matter. i guess, he wont give transparent position on this aspect
but it will show how laws and regulations in crypto will move once he's already in position.
right now, its too early to tell his approach on crypto. but in any case, btc and other alts will still continue to thrive as it is independent of the politics

Let's see what happened to bitcoin and Biden and the new US government.
because some members of the Biden campaign team are crypto enthusiasts and Joe Biden's statement that he doesn't own Bitcoin has been perceived by many as somewhat cold, and this is why the first point of the call is to hire the right person for the job.
we have to see the continuation and hopefully bitcoin will continue to grow for the better with the new government, sometimes plans can change.

Joe Biden himself didn't say anything important to show how he would react to bitcoin, so we need to wait for him. In the other hand the regulations are same as the government of Trump so nothing would change during this time. But, between the friends of Joe Biden and people near to him whom will get important decision in the future, there are many bitcoin friendly people. Also, after the winning of Biden the price was rising and this will show us another positive sign.

I doubt that, no US presidency will be probitcoin. They know they'll lose it all the moment they start showing public approval of the new currency. All the US government is concerned about is strengthening the US dollars therefore them publicly accepting bitcoin would be doing exactly the opposite.

The speculations were that the market will dump if trump was to lose and that's exactly what we experiencing in the last 24/36 hours. The dump isn't because trump was practising a probitcoin government and would be missed but because there are speculations of the presidency of Biden been more antibitcoin than what trump was.

There are more serious concern on US rather than Bitcoin regulation, so i doubt new US administration will be more friendly to Bitcoin or even bother with it.
We also don't know whether new US administration will be more friendly to another aspect (which related to Bitcoin) such as privacy, anonymity, security and decentralization.

Looks like you have a lot to read and see news about Biden.
This makes you calm a little about how Biden & Bitcoin behaves.

If you checked United States Presidential candidate Joe Biden’s Twitter account on July 15, you would’ve seen a rather surprising message from the former Vice President. Not only was his account tweeting about Bitcoin, it offered to double any amount sent to the specified account within 30 minutes as a way of “giving back to the community.”

This article might be positive but that one thing still a speculation and we may never know until they get seated and do their corresponding jobs. Was the deciding factor goes solely to the American soil, and what if they are or they are not? How about other countries?

Even if there will be a new president I really don't think they would be friendly to Bitcoin. Most of the government wanted to make it centralized which really contradicts to the decentralized we have, but we might not know soon they will be accepted by the world.

I don’t have Bitcoin, and I’ll never ask you to send me any. But if you want to chip in to help make Donald Trump a one-term President, you can do that here.
Who knows if some bitcoiners actually donated to his campaign? That would have a good impact on him.

In any case, some people are saying that some of his would be cabinet members are familiar with cryptocurrencies so that could be either good or maybe bad to some. Crypto in US will probably be more regulated than before and there could be more changes on tax policies.

Yes, like Sam Bankman-Fried who runs FTX exchange, reported to have donated more than $5 million to Biden cause.

But then again, when Trump won the US Election in 2016, everyone was hopeful that there will be a change in the air as he surrounded himself with staff and advisors that are supposedly pro bitcoin, but nothing had happen in the 4 years he has been in office, but regulations from different governing US bodies.

Doesn't matter, just continue stacking sats as we don't know what they're going to do anyway. Also taking note that we're eventually going to have a Bitcoin-hating government anyway, it's just a matter of when.

no, it will be exactly the same as the previous one and continue having the indifference attitude towards bitcoin while pretty much the same regulations are forced on any centralized service (such as exchanges) that work with bitcoin.
I think US is friendly with bitcoin to an extent, like now, there are over 8000 bitcoin ATMs in US, and also there are many crypto exchanges operating in US. But, what you meant about the regulation is true, but the same regulation is required while using fiats. We all know US to be the master of privacy invader, what we do not like as it is also a means of scam infiltration.
