I honestly think the price will go up but we cannot of course predict this if I'm honest so its all about how the halving will happen.
There are simply too many factors to take into consideration to make predictions like this for the future. Take the latest event as a example. Everyone thought the price will just rise as we get closer to the halving, and then ETH pumpers started to pump the ETH price and some miners started to follow the money. As a result, the price of Bitcoin went down. We do not know, which external factors will come into play at any given moment to influence the price. ^hmmm^
Bitcoin has no stable price so i think we will see the price will go down and up.. its always depends in demand and supply so dont expect for stable price.. but just hope that the price will increase more because bitcoin will adopt more in every each country just like brazil..

my prediction is that over the long term (1 year and so on) there will be more and more adoption so the price of bitcoin will obviously go up when you compare it with this year's price unless there is a bubble which then you'll have to look at the price before the bubble.
How can there be more adoption when BTC can't even solve block size issue?

my prediction is that over the long term (1 year and so on) there will be more and more adoption so the price of bitcoin will obviously go up when you compare it with this year's price unless there is a bubble which then you'll have to look at the price before the bubble.
Price is in move going up, and probably if it would go down, I don't think that it would be very low, maybe $400+ is the closest price that I could think. The more people entered into bitcoin world, the lesser the price would go down low. Imagine the broomstick carrying a heavy load on top of it, the more the sticks were, the stronger it could carry the weight.

Price going up highly depends upon the halving. If this year gets a very big rise without doubt bitcoin will continue to go high by the coming year with its gradual increase that happens regularly.
We don't know how high it will go at the time of halving, but one thing is sure that price will go high in coming months and halving will add more value to it.
i don't think the price will go much higher at all from todays prices. but just out of interest, how high do you realistically think the price will go at the halving day? please don't say $1000.

To be honest, there might be some volatility in the next year or two, in the short and mid term, but in the long term, like in 10 years, 20 years, I believe the general trend is going to be up, up, up.

as a long term i can say the price of bitcoin will be higher if you check it with the current price. i mean if you check the price 1 year from now it will definitely be higher than $450 and 5 years higher than 1 year and so on. but after 10 years i can't say because the longer it takes there might be a lot of changes in the world which makes bitcoin obsolete or even the only thing that is being used as currency.

Or it could fall down to about ~$350, as many would cash out right after they see a price hike. It'll go down and slowly rise again for the next halving cycle.

The halving effect could last very long. It will last at least in to next year. That is similar to last halving.

The problem is that the price need to stay on a slight upward trend for miners. Next halvening is in 2017. Very difficult to say what will happen. But I guess that once the inflation will be a bit lower, the trend might invert if there is more and more people to use Bitcoin.

5 years later, maybe 2 million people in the world will use the bitcoin. It will increase the price several folds.
