I feel as bullish as everyone else I guess. The amount of people stacking sats and different incentive programs allowing users to accumulate Bitcoin seem almost certain to send the price sky high at some point. I’m a bit surprised we didn’t hit $100K on the last bubble, but it seems a certainty on the next round.
If you ask me that question my answer is always be "yes".Not just 40k, Bitcoin will cross its all-time ATH. If you look at the chart of Bitcoin for the past years you can see that there was a big dump in 2018 and then if you look at how much Bitcoin pumped you might get an idea. And over 80% of the total supply of Bitcoin has been mined and in the future when Bitcoin is no longer minted it will exceed 100k. Yes but the market condition is not good now so its price has come down a lot since ath but I am optimistic that it will recover very quickly by early 2023.
I think it is pretty much a given that bitcoin is going to recover and it will reach a new all time high at some point in the future, what we really do not know is when and all of this is going to happen, and while we know that the market of cryptocurrencies can move in ways that are impossible to predict, a recovery by 2023 seems to be too soon at least to me, I really think that 2023 is going to be another difficult year in which we will need to hold our coins and in which we will need to avoid as much as possible to panic during that time frame, and wait until 2024 before more favorable market conditions can be found. 
$40k? yes! I say out loud! that Bitcoin could hit $40k again, maybe we'll see it in Q4 and that's at the end of the year,
on condition that bitcoin is able to be at $20k in the next few months, because that's a strong support to survive the bears

You aren't really a new trader because you said you already observe the movement of the price for a few months but even if you are new here, it's still possible for you to know the history of the price. We have lots of references online. After knowing the truth, you will say that btc really can return to its previous price. The only thing is that we don't know the exact time when it will occur.
It can be shorter or longer but anyway it shouldn't really matter for you since you said are a trader so you can still be able to profit if you ride the fluctuations. Only those who seek for a higher price are the investors and if they do, will go for more, not only 40k.

40k is not that high a price for bitcoin even considering the current situation, it would turn out to be even less than 2x. I don't understand why such questions come up when the answer is quite obvious yes, no doubt about it. That 400k seems unrealistic now, but bitcoin constantly surprises everyone by rising to the most unpredictable levels. In 2018, for example, few people believed it would rise to even 20k again, and that turned out to be just the current bottom.

That's not actually the question coz it would definitely come.
The question should be "when?".
As you've notice like the rest of us noticed, Btc and most of the alts in crypto market today are struggling coming from a huge dip. It doesn't even look like it's recovering. Though it has bounce back a bit from the bottom, but this year are most likely Btc remains bearish.
So, you might want to stretch your patience a little further and try to hold it till the price hits your target.
the halving event which prices starts to move out on huge spikes which we might be seeing on next possible halving event situation but it wont be an assured thing since there's no such thing about patterns and
similar conditions and considerations which might people been thinking off.Its your call whether you would really be basing your investment acts according to these events or conditions or would
just simply make out actions according to your own preference and analysis.
I am optimistic that the price will return to $40k soon, there are many indications that can make us optimistic and what we often hear is that more and more countries are legalizing or making bitcoin an accepted asset, this will certainly make the demand for bitcoin continue to increase.
we are waiting for it to happen and if 40k happens this year maybe the holders will not sell it and keep holding it until ATH is formed and now being patient and not being consumed by circulating FUD is the most difficult thing, especially for beginners

Take a look at the previous charts of bitcoin, bitcoin fell and rose afterward, and it will hit a new ATH. It's a cycle that always repeats itself. The only thing that we cannot predict exactly is when it will happen, we can only be sure that it will happen in the future.
If you are a trader and you are waiting for bitcoin to hit $40k again then you should buy and hold bitcoin for yourself at this point. It is the best time to buy if your target is 40k$ then you will receive a twofold return. Invest and hold, and bitcoin will come and pick you up.
I also agree with that principle. If you believe that the value will rise back, the timing is perfect from the current price. You can buy and hold and keep adding more once you see more dump that takes place. There's no accurate time, but if you are a believer, each fall is a good opportunity to buy more. Experienced traders who love to take the long-term investment will not be worried about the situation. Instead, they will take it as a good edge.
Every shake will leave weak holders to lose lots of money, try not to be that kind of investors, be smart and play well with the market.
That's low compared to its ATH and never in its history of bitcoins price did not increase its price and break its old record price after it falls. The price will eventually recover but we don't know when it is if you check its history, more likely to occur after a few months from bitcoin halving and that's 2 years from now. Long-time holders are the happiest people right now because they have the chance to buy low right now.
Exactly this logic for sure. I mean we have never stayed under ATH forever, we always kept on breaking it, even if it takes years, we always broke the price record. Which means that 68k was the biggest price we saw, and that means we are going to be 70k or more in the future, I do know when but it will happen for sure.This is what I care about and I believe that it will happen sooner rather than later. That's how we could make sure that crypto is doing better. This is not something that could be timed though, I mean maybe this month, maybe a year from now, we can't really know the time of it, we can only guess. But I know for sure that it will happen eventually, or at least hope for it.
This isn't guaranteed of course but there is a good chance that we should be able to get out of this pit we are in and that seems like going to happen very soon, that is my personal opinion of course and maybe I am wrong, who knows?

why not, if in the near future the price of bitcoin touches $30k of course we will go above $40k again, so waiting for it is indeed annoying but believe me sometimes what we hold can produce bigger profits, stay calm and HODL

before Bitcoin is able to break through the heavy resistance at $30k, the price of $40k for bitcoin is still just a dream, yes we know that the price of $40k is still fairly rational,

Bitcoin had reached more than that , and even will reach more than the ATM so expecting this to happen is indeed but the time prospect is the problem if when to happen and how much it could be.
The answer would provably yes since there are so many times that bitcoin hit the floor so bad but it recover and hit again another all time high which people didn't expect. So if talking about future most provably it is since adoption level is so high and government is quite interested about its global demand so maybe this one could bring huge demand which can create a organic bull run for bitcoin.

How do you know that now more and more people are investing in Bitcoin? because I only see the amount of demand and supply on Bitcoin is getting better so the opportunity for Bitcoin to be at that price is also more possible on the condition that there is no more decline in the market or a large bear market in Bitcoin.

In the short term I also think that it's hard to expect bitcoin to hit $40K and I'm not even sure it will happen this year. But you can expect it to be achievable in the long term even if it's just a possibility.
