It is a very different world from the age of the cassette tape and vhs. It is great that there is so much information available at the touch of a button, it is also quite scary how reliant on technology everyone is not just the kids but society as a whole, so in answer to your question I say yes if it has not taken over already.

Moms and dads who would prefer that their teens’ faces were buried in books might suspect the cause of this phenomenon is technology addiction. Yes, current generation is very much tech savvy as compared to previous one. More and more use of laptops, tabs, smartphones, super gadgets and now crypto currency so we can say that current generation has been taken over by technology which is playing very very important role in their life.
