Satoshi is dead, probably.
Satoshis don't die... they join that big Colored Coin in the Blockchain.

He/she/they said they moved on from Bitcoin to work on other projects.

Will there be an announcement somewhere saying "Glad you like Bitcoin, let me know your thoughts on this side project I have been working on"?
He will not publicly state that he is satachi/the person who created bitcoin when he announces his new project. If he did this then everyone would scream scam and the project would all but certainly fail

We will not. Satoshi is a mystery man and he might still be working on Bitcoin or another project.  If he is working on one of those things, we will never know because this Satoshi handle will likely never be used again

Hes watching Bitcoin but i'm sure hes either working on the next paradigm shift

We are still far away from a paradigm shift in relation to bitcoin.

While the community grew, an alarming number of people are merely looking for the next bubble to capitalize on it.

As for the most people out there, they do not care about anything really, expect the following:

- Do and think as little as possible

- Instant gratification

- Less responsibility

- Passive entertainment

- Greed

- Reproduction

As long as TPTB can keep spinning numbers and distribute propaganda nothing will change.

That's probably the smartest thing I've heard in awhile. Thanks for posting this. Does "group mentality" liberalism fit in there, I think it should......... wait a minute, that's actually the definition of it.

Satoshi's next project was Cryptonote, because Bitcoin's radical economic transparency needed to be complemented with an option for compete financial privacy.

Do you really think satoshi, doesn't go onto the internet anymore, doesn't check out his baby anymore? I guarantee you satoshi is still here although he uses another Alias, I am afraid the only thing that has disappeared is His Alias "Satoshi"

His around , his watching , his working , his commenting , his doing what you and I do, browse the forums, comment, possibly coding who knows. His around Wink

I think you hit that right in the bullseye.

Well, I do hope that Satoshi Nakamoto will give us hint or.. but, it is almost impossible. No one know his real identity and.. I doubt 'it' next big project will be released under Satoshi Nakamoto name.

I have said this before and I will say it again.  Satoshi is an inventor, a creator, and person who just has to think, understand and fiddle.

He most certainly is still involved in the Bitcoin scene under a different name, or he has moved on to a new project and is working on it.

What I can say with a good amount of certainty is he just didn't take up watching TV and go to a normal day job.

That's what Gavin actually said, but no one listens. He said Satoshi did not disappear. Gavin said Satoshi's personality was not good about being around too many people and the start up/management would be too much for him, so he stepped back out of view and let Gavin run lead. Gavin said Satoshi was not gone from bitcoin, he just had got bitcoin to the point where he didn't need to be there day to day coding like he had been. We have all just assumed he had disappeared off the face of the earth and never listened to what Gavin said actually happened.

The video is kind of funny because as Gavin is explaining what really happened with Satoshi, there is a guy(Legendary Member) in full conspiracy mode talking right over what Gavins trying to tell us. This may be the point Gavin and Satoshi decided to let the stories run wild, because this video shows the conspiracy theories are more fascinating than the truth that Gavin was trying to tell us.

Note: I'm sure he's probably been working on something like smart contracts since that is the beginning of the completion of a Kola Ring for Bitcoin.
