I have got some amount from the last bull. It was a great journey although I had lost huge amount at the end. Now, I'm only holding USDT and planning to utilize the money for buying BTC long term.
Will we ever see BTC below $10k? Actually I'm waiting for BTC to reach $20 so that I can invest my 50% and later on if price fall further, another 50%. But what if it doesn’t go such below? I will miss the potential gain.
So, what do you think? Will we see BTC $10k anytime soon? Maybe in next year or in 2023? Or I should start DCA right now?
I do not see 10k happening every again, not just now, not in the future, I do not expect that price to ever happen again, it is really not something that I would be expecting, it is over and it will not happen again. Let's get serious about it, we are talking about just 50% drop and THEN another 60%+ drop on top of that, it would be insane drop that I do not see happening at all.

I understand that we had a good amount of drop and people are expecting a 2018 type of drop, but there is no way that we could end up with anything like that right now, it could be very bad, but it will not be that bad, it will probably be under 30k and that's it, there won't be anything further down. Hell it is not even going under 30k neither, we had the drop and thats it, we are not going down anymore, which is why I think it is not going to be anything like 10k at all.

Last March, we saw Bitcoin drop to just about 16% of its then all time high of 20k.

If 65k is what we take as the current ATH then yeah even below 10k is still possible. If we expect all cycles to behave the same way which they don't really.

Shouldn't worry us, though. Saw the bounce after last Marh?

Don't wait for the $10k buy it now when there is an opportunity, that $10,000 USD is long gone and I really think it will never be reached in this bear market I am seeing that $35,000 and $37,000 or even $30,000 is the actual floor, from that last bull run you should have accumulated some profit then I think that is already good if you have lost an amount due to the dip, just forget about it and move on and wait for another bull run cycle, In my opinion, the last All-time high was $56,000 USD and beyond that is a good selling time, but if you did sell always sell a small portion you may never know how high can bitcoin go in its next bull run.

if many people considering instant buy at $20000 below then $10000 simply not possible. Too much resistance along the way because bitcoin is deemed to really have a value and it certainly is have value.
Just imagine what's those institution gonna do if btc touches below that? they gonna buy in bulk and making the market recover almost instantly because no one is crazy enough to miss the opportunity like that.
But anything is possible right? in crypto market.

I am not sure if we will see BTC below $10k because we already knew that BTC could move to any price without giving a sign to us.
I can only suggest you buy BTC for a small amount and do not buy a large amount of BTC at once because you need to anticipate buying more BTC if the price is down later.
Waiting for BTC to reach $20k is good, but we do not know if that can really happen or not.
So I think you can buy BTC in the next drops for some amount while you can wait for other drops so that you can add more BTC to your wallet.
Or you can use some money to trade, but no need to make many trades.
You can only buy low and sell high and take profit, and I think that will no need to trade too often.

Man, $20k is like the $1,000 in the 2018 bearish market. Though it's not impossible, but the chances are very low.
Due to institutions coming in to the market, It seems like Btc won't go below the last ATH's level. Despite of the bad new from China's Bitcoin miners and Elon's tweet, Bitcoin still retained the $30,000 level.
Bitcoin is now stronger than last year's history for me this has been a good impact after many institutions have entered the bitcoin space including Elon Musk's business companies before him.
I even believe there must be a bear market every year but this time bitcoin is stronger mentally with many FUD accusations against him including Elon's tweet that damaged the bitcoin price because of his tweet even CZ saw Elon very dangerous if he did this continuously.
$30k will continue to be held, the community believes this is a strong prisoner.

If 65K was the top then we will most likely see 10K or even less at some point before the next recovery and ATH.

a lot of people expect btc to go down at 10k is there a good thing for us as investors or is the decline in btc at the lowest price a threat to future crypto developments?
now we are in a dangerous environment for the survival of crypto itself.
That bitcoin survival is on a thread is a bullshit created to create a general anxiety among the market to doubt bitcoin which slows down the growth of bitcoin. Even if bitcoin were to go down as low as 10k USD, it doesn't matter because in the long-term, bitcoin is going to grow even bigger than what it is right now.

I do not think that you will ever manage to get anything below $30k at least. I like to suggest you to buy at current price levels and you may wait for buying around $33k to $32k levels. Buying at any price levels will not disappoint you in long run and due to this, I am just wondering why you are looking for some highly impossible price levels like $10k.

If I remember correctly, I have seen similar topics in 2017 where people were ready to buy below $500k levels but bitcoin market never gave them any opportunity to buy below $900 levels but made them wait infinitely.

Will we see BTC $10k anytime soon? Maybe in next year or in 2023? Or I should start DCA right now?
In 2022, as per cycle of bitcoin markets, we may get 70% downfall from ATH of 2021. You may get lower price by December of 2022 but before that in December 2021 you may get a new ATH which might be 10x from current price levels.

Everything is possible and we can think for the worst bottom as much as we want, from the last bear after hitting the $20k mark, we hit the bottom of $3k and now that we’ve made a new all time of $65k, $10k might be the worst bottom, we don’t know and I’m just open for every possibility. You have a good strategy on buying for a possible dip, and it will happen for sure, the bottom will be hit but the real question is when and how much.
I believe it is crypto we could also be 1 dollar or 1 million dollars and it is "possible" if you look at the technical part of it. However I do not believe that we are going to reach to those levels at all, do you believe we can be 1 dollar or 1 million dollars? At the end of the day, we are not going to have anything like that, we are going to just have something more reasonable.

Now I know 10k is not as insane as 1 dollar, but it is still low, and I do not think that it is possible to reach that level anymore. We are doing fine, Elon is trying to drop the price as much as he can, just as we reached to 40k levels he definitely started to tweet just to drop it, he had absolutely no other reason, he just wants to see it go down, and that is why he did it, no other reason. However eventually people will stop caring about him and increase the price for sure.

Never say never when it comes to Bitcoin, but you still need to ask yourself, what are the odds that the price will fall so low? As some others have already written, something very bad should have happened that would shake up the crypto market, but then again you have a problem with how long it would take for the market to recover. In other words, your investment could be completely unprofitable for a long time, especially if a crypto winter like the one in 2018 happened.

I don't want to be a financial advisor, every man has to decide what he wants to do with his money - I'll just say that some opportunities are given once in a lifetime, and waiting for them to happen again turns into irretrievably lost time.

If this comes to happen then i will be the first to rejoice because 1/3 of my previous investments are now sitting as USDT meaning I'm waiting for chance like this to buy more again and i intentionally maintain holding the amount for buying iny the lowest price Bitcoin can be in the next months or even year.
I know that it will fall again and rise in after the halving so what is it for me to deny the chances right?

We aren't sure yet but given how bitcoin can go from 60k to 30k, there is a likely chance that we will see bitcoin at 10k but there isn't anything to fret about it since that's a really good opportunity to buy bitcoin.

Although not certain, I personally think it's a small possibility, it's a very remote possibility of going back to 10k, it's clearly visible at 20k and above for the long term I guess.
I can say that in terms of price movements from time to time from the previous year as well, but after all we have to remember that it moves very naturally.

Nope I don't think that we would see it happens but if it does then we better get our wallets ready for it.
I don't even think that we could see it below $20K anymore but I could also be wrong about it.

you are not the only one who is prepping for BTC going further south. you'd gonna have to wait for more fud again against miners, it's them that sells high so if they turn to renewable, they may try selling cheaper. $10K however could be too low to imagine but it's possible. the market is very unpredictable, you can't tell if the holders really value their BTC.

It is possible for the bitcoin price to reach $10k, actually anything is possible to happen to cryptocurrencies. But if you look on the stats of bitcoin price i think that it will never reach $10k this year because of the pump that happens in its value, gradually its price drops down but it will surely goes up again.
We can't really be sure that it won't reach this year, remember that bitcoin is a volatile and really susceptible to market manipulation so there is a likely chance that bitcoin might go down there, we just have to wait for it to happen and if it never does then thank the market.
