Thats true, but if that things happen for me that is the best time to buy more bitcoin because i believe it will bounce back and make a new all time high price. i believe that what ever happens on august will still make bitcoin more powerful than before.

The problem in the case of a hard fork is, which coin do you buy, the one with the most hash rate or the one supported by the devs? or the one most popular in bitcointalk? It is not as easy as you may think, at that point it would be better to wait.

To tell you truth no one can really tell. All these trades have all their analysis and predictions. Before bitcoin hits $2000 everyone is speculating that it will happen on the end of the year but as we know they got it all wrong and it even surpasses $2000 and now $2500.

The price is swinging again upwards for a close to $100 increase. Looks like the support close to $2,300 is strong and most of the buy orders are set from that price range. Because of that, it triggers again the bull to established a $100 increase. Is it now the start of bullish trend?

Price lowered than $1,000 is now on dream again. Still waiting for drop? Ok then don't take the ride.

yes that is right the price of bitcoin cannot fell down from that price but will increase more and more . i do not think that the price of bitcoin is going to fell down from 2000$ and very soon is expected that the price of bitcoin will start increasing and this time may be reach to 4000$.

I just hope it will really increase more, I will be holding my coins for a moment, maybe buy some if it dumped below $2000, but as you have said, I don't think it will be happening. There are many users and investors right now that it will not be coming back below $2000.

The price will always fluctuate, like it has been for long time. But i agree with you when you say that it is less likely that bitcoin will fall below 2000 dollars. We need to understand that where the Bitcoin stands today is a very good positions from its past. In past we have observed that the bitcoin prices fall too much abruptly but now it is a recognized and legalized way of payment in some countries so it can now not fall this much down around $2000 is acceptable but I think not below than that.

We can't avoid such thing because we all know how volatile bitcoin is and we can't compare our current state in the past because bitcoin is just a digital currency that time, now it has many users and know world-wide. Bitcoin is also just starting to be popular that time, now it is.

yes that is right the price of bitcoin cannot fell down from that price but will increase more and more . i do not think that the price of bitcoin is going to fell down from 2000$ and very soon is expected that the price of bitcoin will start increasing and this time may be reach to 4000$.

I don't think so. But with the politics happening with bitcoins right now, I think it's totally possible. People are now following major crypto players. They keep up with what those people are up to. If one of these crypto celebrities said that they are dumping coin tomorrow, people are going to panic sell just because they assume that it's true and that tomorrow will be a good time to buy coins at a lower price. Just like in real life, the bitcoin world is ran by rich people and influencers. If these influencers thought that it's a good idea to dump all their coins and move to a different coin, then the price will go down as desired.

Just think of the BTU drama back then, bitcoin price has decreased because crypto celebs are buying BTU and announcing it again and again. Hence, making people panic sell and move to BTU in hopes that the coin will be as successful as the crypto celebs want. Reality check? It's not going to happen.

I didn't see that bitcoin is lower than 1000$, but it's possible to go down and up. Since Bitcoin is a currency so that the value can be low or high at anytime. Market is dependent on some factors which make a currency valuable or worthless. So it's not a surprising matter to see Bitcoin is lower than thousand...

I'm the worst case scenario I don't even think we will be back to $1,000 because there are a lot of people involved in Bitcoin at the moment and with the slightest tumble they will buy back and the prices will be restored so I don't think we will come down that low unless there's a deliberate abandonment of Bitcoin.

But it's possible to bitcoin to go to $1000 because bitcoin is volatile but keep in mind that bitcoin has many supporters now and i don't see bitcoin going beyond $2000. Maybe it will reach around $2000-2200 but it will regain back to $2300+.

Nothing is really certain in trading. It could rise and fall drastically. As for now, since bitcoin is becoming more and more known and many is getting interested in it, it's demand rises. Its value is increasing. We can say "for now" that the price could hardly fall BUT again, its not certain. We should always be ready/prepared for the uncertainty of price movement. I couldnt say that we can have no worries regarding this. It's better to prepare.

Your perspective is very optimistic. I believe bitcoin can see $1500 easily as of now. There is technical debates going on about bitcoin. In August, it's gonna fall much more probably.

August will be a decisive month to the Bitcoin community, changes will come and will, for sure, get real impact on the price chart, let's hope for the best.

I also keep believing in Bitcoin.

That is practically not impossible but it's really hard to happen. For the bitcoin price to come under 1000 USD, the market cap of bitcoin should also come down to 10 billion or less from current 40 billion USD. That will happen only if a global force acts against bitcoin and people start selling it like anything.

That's most unlikely to happen at the current scenario. Because investors like me are gearing up to buy more bitcoin at the current price. Even though market cap has decreased over 3 billion from yesterday. It is the ideal time to buy and bag more profit.

Not to fast with the $3000 price though. Right now the price is going down at $2300 already. So for now, $3000 is out of the question. I also think that it will not go lower than $1000. But bitcoin is very volatile right now, specially when we are near the Aug. 1 date. You know investors are very wise and will not just pour cash into the market because of the uncertainly on the said date. But we just look at it at the bright side, if bitcoin price crash, then its a perfect opportunity to buy and accumulate more bitcoin. Because we all know that bitcoin can rebound and the price could soar high in the future.

Even I do not think if bitcoin prices will be lower than $2000 and I'm sure bitcoin will retain its value at $2000. By the way, what will happen to bitcoin on August 1st?
