I actually think Amazon has the clout necessary to pull off such a thing on a wide scale, perhaps not as their sole payment system, but definitely as an accessory system, such as a replacement for their gift card and gift balance system. If this actually happened, I would be a day one investor, as Amazon takes over every market they enter.
I think it's doubtful they will get their own currency, but they might use the blockchain for certain things. And more likely they will begin accepting crypto for payments in the future.

Amazon have been working over 10 years loosing money. And they were funding themselves only from the stock exchange.

Probably Amazon will soon release their coin. But this will be a central coin. So I do not know how much interest it attracts. But it is still nice to step into the crypto ecosystem of big companys.

That is what I think will happen in the future. As the number one e-commerce company in the world, Amazon will not overlook its opportunity in the cryptocurrency market, as many other corporations have accepted crypto. I believe that the Amazon coin will really create tremendous success with their potential.

Well, I think that Amazon liked the resonance gained with Refereum (with Twitch) and now is thinking about its own coin. That should bring some interesting news I suppose, obviously in its shop, we’ll be able to buy everything from it. I don’t think that will be a opening to others cryptos though, Amazon is still a company and want to keep its own space, like they did with Kindle’s ebook, you can’t open them without their proprietary reader.

I'm not sure amazon will make crypto, most likely is the survey. but how the survey works and the interest of people to use amazon coins. there are several possibilities, but at this point the choice people will be more interested in other crypto that has been there before.
