It might possibly not get to that this 2018 but in due time, just in the nearest future we will be looking at that price.
If total market cap will reach $1,999,999,999,998 XRP price can reach $10, otherwise i don't think so.
I don't think it deserves the number 2 spot over ETH, so whatever ETH manages to reach in the next run I see as the max potential of Ripple. Just based on market share and personal opinion handwaving.
In my opinion, Ripple has great momentum. Though, I believe for the right reasons. The transactions are fast compared to most coins. The applicability in the global markets is going towards as real-time as possible. The overall scalability of this coin in terms of technology will definitely take it to $10. Will it stay at 10? who knows, it could drop back or go even crazier. 
It will reach again 3$and more when the glory of bitcoin become more glorier this year.... But it will take some time since we need to market it to other people for them to invest on it, then it will have a chance ti climb again....
Ok, so why did XRP suddenly hit $3 (and above) in 2017 and went down? I would go with the theory saying that it reached high because banks and businesses shared their positive feedback about XRP. However, the actual adoption and the further domino effect might take 5 to 10 years, but it will (since XRP has already proved to be a reliable tool for cheaper and faster global transactions that can be effectively used by big enterprises). The question is when and how fast they will adopt the new xCurrent framework that takes the process to the next step. Once they do, the domino effect cannot be avoided and the price will hit even above $10. The question is when and how fast. That's why I am pushing for XRP being a long-term investment option now.
It is quite possible on a general wave of growth we will see a Ripple about $ 5, but not higher. Morelikely no,because only FUDs are the reason why this coin is getting pumped the last time it was pumped is because of the COINBASE FUD LISTING which was cleared by the coinbase thanks to them,people needs to understand that XRP is working with the central bank which is indeed the counter part of cryptocurrencies,so no i wont support this coin!
First of all i think xrp is a very good and promising coin. From last few weeks it's price was under $1 But now xrp is growing daily and now xrp is $1+ So my opinion about xrp is it should be hit $10 in this year. I think xrp will hit $10 in the last of 2018
I guess the price about 4-5 USD at the end of the year is real for XRP - many many good news.
Personally, I think that the ripple will not reach the price of $ 10. Although the price has now exceeded $ 1, and previously even $ 3, there is no way that it will grow so much at the end of 2018.
If it reaches 5$ this year it would be really good. 10$ would be amazing. Lets hope more capital will flow into the crypto world.

I think it's possible because Ripple is one of the most important Crypto today as it seats as the third position as the leader of Crypto Market.

I have Ripple coins too and I love it because the time In invested Ripple - the price is cheaper than today, it was like $0.10 and now the price per XRP is $1.20 so it's for long term and I know it will not go back to $0.10 in the future, never.

I think it can happen, because we never know how in the future, like ETH from $400 can jump to $ 850 in just a few months, so I believe it can happen with XRP where the price could be $ 10 in 2018.
I think if for this year can not, but if in 2019 XRP has an opportunity to increase its price to $ 10.

I don't think so, even with the latest great bullrun it only reach $3 with that insane amount of shilling on internet and media to attract normal people to buy it and they have suffered very bad from the bear market so it will be very hard to break the ath, also the marketcap if ripple reach that price is really big so i don't think it can reach $10 this year, better choose other coin for investment. I am sure that it will be, because the ripple is a technology associated with banks, and every day it becomes more and more. And consequently, how many more banks will want to implement the technology, here's the answer that it will only increase.
If the market goes into a upward type market, ripple price should go up to $10 but this doesn't mean that ripple is a good choice of investment. It's still very risky and I wouldn't invest a single penny in it.
