For now, I cannot accept bitcoin as my salary. Its better to accept real and cash money from your company, however bitcoin has so many advantages here in our country. You can pay your bills (electricity, water, internet, tuition fees) without going to their offices and without hassle. If bitcoin has a chance on getting introduce in our country and if our government accepts it, then I will choose bitcoin as my salary.
Usually I'm the main person to not suggest taking a bitcoin salary for logistical reasons, like conversion fees and the inability to pay most companies directly. However, I'm in the process of opening a food truck and I'm considering taking 30% of my salary as bitcoin (we plan to accept btc, among a few other cryptos). I'll most likely have to purchase it, I will be pleasantly surprised if we make enough bitcoin otherwise. I figure we are probably headed up from here, but gradually. It's still years before these coin prices hit their stride. They are still virtually unknown.
It depends, if bitcoin can be use in markets and in shops, then I will accept my salary as bitcoin, but if I can use it only in few shops, then probably only a percentage of my salary should be in bitcoin. I have no problem accepting bitcoin if I can use it with convenience,
We cannot afford to accept salary in bitcoin as price volatility will play a key role in deciding either your salary will be higher or lower and it can be very risky too.
I prefer to have 20% of my salary being paid in terms of bitcoin, because every month specific amount is being spend upon buying some bitcoin as a investment for future.
I am also converting a certain percentage of my salary to Bitcoin for investment purposes as I fully believe in the future of Bitcoin.My advice to people is to don't wait for the time that companies offer you payments in Bitcoin as that will take a very long time (if ever).
Just buy yourself a certain amount of Bitcoin every month like I do, and you'll be ready for the future and you directly benefit from the price that goes higher and higher.
Just make sure you don't waste time waiting for the right moment to enter the market. Do it now!
The best decision is your idea and I am doing it even just for a percentage of my salary. I would rather do it on my own than stress my boss on how and why he should do it. Besides rich people tend to see this investments kind of scary.

I wish I can be paid with the bitcoin. So that I do not have to buy bitcoin in exchanges. That will save me some hassle.

I agree that payouts from signature campaign are not that really high it is just good to consider as part time income. But if my boss is going to pay me bitcoin as my salary, I'm going to think for it many times. Because the chance is 50/50 , 50% risky and 50% profitable.

I agree with this, and a sidenote that no bank here would give me a loan, no credit card company would give a card and it would be impossible to rent a house and buying one with mortgage would be unwise and not accepted. It is just to early to introduce such a thing.
Thats hard if theres no bank to give you some loan and credit card. Its not ideal to recieve bitcoin as your salary since the price is unstable and some countries doesnt accept it because its not known in all parts of the world. hoping someday that service would be available.

Still people will always think about the stability I think the employer will also look into that. He wouldn't want to keep adjusting the salary everytime the price of bitcoin change right?

I would really like to have my salary to be in Bitcoin but that would make life quite difficult for me since i wont be able to use it in my local area. If maybe at least 20% of my salary was to be in Bitcoin then that would make things a bit better. Then slowly i could make an investment and convert it into fiat later on.
When you are in need of converting bitcoins into fiat to use them, then it must be unnecessary thing to get your salary in bitcoins. But when everything is being available for bitcoin payment, then there must be no wrong in getting salary in bitcoin. I'm planning to get my salary in bitcoin as I'm having enough shops to to spend my bitcoins.If you have an option to spend it anywhere then its worth to get salary in bitcoins, but if you have to convert to fiat and then spend then it would not be an nice idea to receive salary in bitcoin.

Yes i will accept it because bitcoin can convert it in peso so i accept it. Bitcoin is good salary here coz i will earn it as my savings and wait the bitcoin get rise. If that happen my bitcoin increase and my savings grow.

Yes good point if we recieve some portion of our salary in bitcoin like 30% i would suggest that i would love it.It will go directly to my savings and plus investments and i will spend only with 70% fiat.But getting 100% of the salary would not be a good idea because we need money to spend in real life so sooner than later we have to convert our bitcoins into fiat so i would be better to direcly take salary in fiat.
