10 thousand satoshis? If that's the current pricing, I'd like to buy a hundred pepperonis and cheese and start my own pizzeria! I never knew pizza would be this cheap.  Cheesy

If I really have a craving for pizza at the moment, then yes, I would buy a pizza for 10,000 sat.  It is probably around that price anyway.

the comparison isn't adequate, 10k satoshi now are worth much less than 10k satoshi before, i think he did over payed the pizza at that time, regardless of what bitcoin it was worth

The real question should be: Will you buy a pizza for bitcoin? - Price is rather irrelevant here. As long as it is similar to the normal price of course.

True. 10k satoshies nowadays cannot be compared with 10k satoshies on 2011 or on future (2019).

I don't know how much money that you spent for pizza in your country.

But here in my place, normally i bought for 3.5 Million satoshies for 1 big size pizza (8 slices)
1 slice of pizza approx for 450k satoshies. #on Oct 2015 with BTC

Not.

This story is good for bitcoin but technically it's not buying pizza for bitcoin. The guy paid his fried to buy pizza with fiat! If anything, it supports fiat more than bitcoin.

A really effective move would be to get the pizza chain to accept bitcoin and then show them how they can convert it to fiat if they want to (or ideally keep it in an online wallet.) A move like this actually pushes the awareness forward.

Yes definately i will buy one if i get it today.  Grin
But nowadays at 10000 sat which is near 2 cents, nobody gonna sell a pizza slice.
Claiming 10000 sat from 10 faucets and enjoying a pizza slice would be good if we can buy it. Cheesy

When i read the topic i thinked you were willing to sell pizzas for bitcoins ,instead of those you are taking the old history of the pizza sold out for a large number of bitcoins again?Man that happened on the begining of bitcoin,if you wanna do a pizza business and accept bitcoins maybe i can buy one otherwise makes no sense make a new topic to talk about an old post .

may be in the future if the bitcoin will continue rise. from now just keep it to your wallet and wait for the rise of bitcoin like on long ago 3 years from now the price of bitcoin is much expensive than year of 2010...

Why wait. A pizza will cost you a fraction of a Bitcoin in today's price. And if you have some fiat money left just buy back the amount of Bitcoin which you have spent before.
I know what you mean because nobody wants to be a Laszlo 2.0 Cheesy

Why wouldn't you buy it for bitcoin? If you want to maintain the same amount of bitcoins you had previously, just rebuy the same amount after the purchase.

You don't even have to do it daily, but just weekly should have an avarage price that is close.
