If I have many bitcoin and already am a millionaire, I will surely do. But I will donate bitcoin only for such institutions. As what they say, the more blessings you have, if you do share it, you will be blessed times 2 of what you have today. Do not be greedy of the money you have right now. Try to share it to others even in some institutions like Home for the Aged or Orphanage, through that you can help many people. In individuals who are poor, maybe you can give them a little but not too much, the thing is do not give too much because they might become lazy. Teach them how to earn money using bitcoin. Because we are not the ones to blame because they are poor. We also are poor before but the thing is strive to earn money. We learn from bitcoin.

I will donate to them but I encashed first and help them directly. No need to give it to charity because sometimes there's a case they didn't give them all to the poor/needy people. To make sure that you can give them all their needs, help them personally.

If everyone would just give something, BTC or not, their lives would be a bit better every day, think about that, we are lucky to have "almost" everything's needed. It will be more useful if I donate for the poor and needy in the form of clothes, food and drinks, medicine, or real money.

I cherished your presentation on this matter due to your soft, kind and generous heart to help the needy. But can we look at this from another angle? Do you think everyone of them you donate to will appreciate it whole heatedly? Since not all of them knows it's workings, significance and effect on their daily needs, if not for probably very few educated ones among them, if there is at all at a time in question. My own suggestion is to turn whatever Bitcoin I want to donate to normal/real currency and buy exactly what they crucially need that they will appreciate at that period in time.

Yes why No, I will donate Bitcoin if I have more Bitcoin than cash, But, since I get a small amount of Bitcoin, I would rather donate some cash.

If it is a good plan then I support this idea because it is very noble if we do it and many people will support but if necessary should be established fundraising team and coordination team.

Donating is merely giving a little bit of money. The scripture says; it is more blessed to give than to receive. So, I say yes I am very much willing to donate bitcoin to the poor and needy individuals because I believed in my heart that when we donate/give it will surely come back to us a hundred folds. We do not need to have millions of bitcoin before donating it to the poor and needy. We should share what we have especially to the poor and needy.

The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
The thought of donating to the poor sounds good but again the poor might need a costlier device to gain access to your donation. However if the donation is done through hardcash or through cheques, it would help better.

It would be stupid to donate Bitcoin directly to the poor. It doesn't make any sense. Cash or goods/services is better.

If we are a generous person then it is supposed to help the poor, but we must make sure the person is really incapable. I'll certainly make a donation to the  underprivileged. Especially if for the orphanage it is my duty to help them. But i don't give it in the form of bitcoin but it has become fiat, at least its value is equal to 0.5 Btc.

If I have lots of bitcoin I will surely donate part of it to the poor and the needy. I may give it to them directly or I'm going to find a legitimate charity institution which has known track record and a reliable one.

Of course I will do that. But I will not donate bitcoin, I will only donate money from bitcoin sales to the poor and needy. All that I do because of the humanity to help each other the poor and the needy, I believe if we give sincerely then God will give greater replacement price.

I really agree with thread like this, in fact I also have done that set aside some that I have for the poor or needy. Surely they do not understand what Bitcoin is. The first I did was convert Bitcoin into cash. Although the numbers are small but can help them is a happiness for me.
