Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?
To answer the original question of the OP:
Nowadays making a living out of Bitcoin it's much more harder then back in 2012-2014. For me it seems like at the era when comunism has fallen in East Europe and USSR.
During the communist era there were no Supermarkets, McDonalds, fast foods in these countries, almost every company was owned and runned by the government. After the regimes has fallen huge waves of privatizations have started. The lucky private persons who had a little capital had the chance to start a business which haven't been available during the communist era but only in western capitalist countries. Everybody felt the first breezes of the western capitalist world. People started to buy branded clothes, started to go to McDonalds etc. The people who opened the first private restaurants, clothes shops etc made huge amounts of money because they created something NEW. Thats why there are a lot of oligarchs in Russian, Ukraine, etc.
Why have I wrote this novel?
Because the situation with BTC is the same as it was with the fall of comunism. The people who had a little courage and had a little bit of capital are at the top now.
Look at theymos the creator of Bitcointalk. The revenue of bitcointalk in 2014 was around $400k. SInce then ever more user came.
Look at Stunna the creator of Primedice.
Summa summarum. You must have courage and good timing. Then you can quit your job
