My crypto resulotion this year I just want to make my new year resolution in the year 2019 I'm not happy about that year but at the time of this new year I will try to be more industrious in the forum because I believe if you persevere and be industrious you are doing something worthwhile Based on my experience when I was just beginning with the crypto because I was not very knowledgeable and all I had was investing in sites called hyip on site or risky investing sites I did not know much about crypto and nothing experience and even too much of my income with hyip is also quick to deplete my btc savings on scam sites. so it's a lesson to me to be very careful about the things I will share so it does not happen again to me. And in the months and days I passed my knowledge slowly And a friend of mine taught me where exactly he could have helped me find a site he called "Bitcointalk.org" a forum where all your questions and answers to things I did not almost everything is already in the forum. I can tell myself this is a great opportunity so I'll work on it in the forum. This is my true and full experience when crypto as a bounty hunter ☺.

I hope I win because I'm ready for my birthday🎂🍝🍖🍗

I'll keep making more Crypto Resolutions Cheesy

It's not really a New Year's Resolution of mine, but I've been thinking about this for a while now. Unfortunately there's no way I can pull this off. However, as a proof of concept I'd love to see the first Lightning Network Casino created. Imagine this: a site with a max bet of 1 Satoshi, and a minimum bet 1/1000th of a Satoshi. Something like Starblocks, but not on testnet. You won't have a balance on the site, but deposit each bet straight from your wallet, and receive your prize back in your wallet almost instantly. You can deposit and withdraw hundreds of times per hour, testing the potential of LN.

But like I said, there's no way I can do this Sad I'm still thinking about creating a topic in Project Development to make this a community effort.

So maybe my real Crypto Resolution should be:

I met the cryptocurrency in November 2017. And I experienced this difficult year 2018 with it. I promise myself that I will not abandon it in 2019.

I will trust in bitcoin.

I will believe in the power of cryptocurrency!

And I think that after the crisis of 2018 even more ordinary people will use cryptocurrency in 2019.

Made another with a similar idea, just in case there were copyright issues with the earlier one. Got to thank the other posters here, and the actual tools used.

Check your coin privilege

A little backstory for this.. It's extremely fascinating for me that in the last 5 years so many new projects emerged. I genuinely remember how less than a decade ago, "blockchain" just meant bitcoin. Coding a new coin just meant forking the bitcoin repository and changing the difficulty to suit your new coin's need (Hello LTC!)

And yet here we are, Vitalik could run self-executing contracts on the chain, XMR's blockchain hides transaction amounts and inputs/outputs, and honestly if I were to cite every innovation that people tried I'd probably hit the character limit on this.

It's amazing how much the technology evolved and how much potential people finally see in the crypto world. But it's not going to be easy, so for me, by the end of 2019, I have to at least be able to understand the ins and outs of blockchain programming, which should be an achievable goal. By the end of 2019, I'll have finished "learning" everything about crypto, and/or contributed something new to bitcoin. And so on 2020 my resolution will be to actually successfully launch my own currency. (Maybe participate in this competition again with that resolution Cheesy ).

Thanks again for this! And Good luck to all participants Smiley

EDIT : Also, I added the BTC myself to the sunrise, no worries about copyrights.

The whole ecosystem, if not as heated as in 2017, is nonetheless thriving, with many projects starting to deliver and use cases spreading across the board.
This is the main thing indeed. Bitcoin is gaining ground, and it's always had a history of overshooting the long-term average price, followed by a sharp drop.

My 2019 Crypto Resolution can be summarized in just one word: HODL!

LoyceV's Crypto Resolution loading...via Imgflip Meme Generator
In 2017, I came up with the plan to sell a small amount of Bitcoin, each time the price went up a certain percentage. That went better than I ever expected!
My next sale is planned around $20,000, and I stick to that plan. I expect the next MOON to start 4 months after the next halving, so that will be somewhere in 2020. That brings me to my conclusion for this year: HODL!

Credits to GameKyuubi for giving us the word "HODL".

The start of a new year is a time for reflection; for looking back at the past and planting the seeds for a better future. It’s the one time when people are motivated
to spill out their optimism in the form of sincere - if not always realistic - new year's resolutions. And it couldn't be any different with bitcoin and crypto.

Let’s face it, 2018 wasn’t the greatest year for bitcoin, or crypto in general. From all the 2017 optimism and dreams of widespread adoption, 2018 was more of a cold bucket
of water than the promised crypto land. Overall, prices have dropped repeatedly and the general atmosphere at the end of this year is one of gloom.

It’s understandable, if you haven’t been in bitcoin for long, that it may seem to you like bitcoin is finally dead, or at least dying. To hear all this talk of an upcoming
crypto winter end-all like a Game of Thrones season finale is to miss one of the most important points here: Winters end.

But just as years end and as new ones begin, bitcoin has outlived all its 336 obituaries so far. It happened before, and
for people in the space, this time isn’t different. Bitcoin isn’t dead; in fact, as it approaches its tenth anniversary, it’s only just starting.
The whole ecosystem, if not as heated as in 2017, is nonetheless thriving, with many projects starting to deliver and use cases spreading across the board.

And you know what? As every revolutionary technology has repeatedly proven throughout history,
“first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

That’s our crypto resolution for 2019 - but we want to know yours!

Win bitcoin for your 2019 Crypto Resolutions!

To kick the year off with a bang, we are asking our players and bitcointalk members to share with us their Crypto resolutions for 2019.

Should you stop buying shitcoin? Maybe HODL till kingdom come? Or perhaps you’re determined to have your mom get her first coin?

If can refer to bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency. Tell us your plans, or what you intend to use crypto for (if anything).
It can be about lambos (but we know you can do better), or something else, entirely - it’s up to you.

You can use any background - a blank card or page, an image, a gif, and just lay your best (or worst) wishes for crypto in 2019.
As long as you write it in your own words (and keep it civil), it’s good to go.

Here's a few examples to get your creative juices flowing. Remember though, you can use any other background, including animated gifs or meme-style images:

To Enter:

To enter, simply post your wishes in the thread below, or on Twitter @Cloudbet using the
#CryptoResolutions hashtag.

The competition will run until 10:00AM UTC on Monday 14th January, so you have plenty of time to get your entries in!

Prizes!

There's a tasty 0.30 BTC prize pool that will be split between our top 10 favourite entries.....

But wait, there's more!

We'll also be holding a raffle, with the winner receiving a Nano Ledger Blue wallet!

The first 100 entrants that follow the rules qualify for a ticket, and the winner will be selected using the BTC blockchain for transparency.

Each entry will be assigned a number, based on the order it was posted relative to all others, starting from zero. So, the first entry is 00, the second is 01, and so forth.

After the competition closes, we will post a list with all entrants and their respective raffle numbers. The winner will be determined by the
last two numeric digits of the block hash for the first block after 14:00AM UTC on Tuesday, 15th of January.

In case there are no matches, the winner will be determined by the following block until there is a match.

That's all from us for now, so good luck, and here's to a great new year!
