As has been well documented in the media, talks have broken down between the Fury and Usyk teams to get this fight confirmed. Like many of you, I would liked to have seen a unification fight between Fury and Usyk but that might never happen now.

Now that we are sure the fight is not going ahead I have had to unfortunately lock this thread. If in future the fight between Fury and Usyk does take place, I will re-run the lottery making all 58 tickets available again and by making all entries in this thread null and void.

I would like to thank Ratimov for offering to pay $25 towards the prize fund after the winner was to be announced and I would also like to thank Utopia.

I am fairly sure the unification fight between Fury and Usyk will go ahead one day but if does not in April 2023, I will probably start an alternative competition/lottery.

We still are waiting for news that Fury and Usyk have actually put pen to paper. The media are saying it will be officially agreed within days for the fight to take place on 29th April 2023

The latest rumours circulating online are suggesting the fight will go ahead at Wembley stadium in London after promoter Bob Arum stated it will not be hosted in the Middle East. All indications are the date is still set for 29th April 2023 but the venue still has to be confirmed.
