Risks are inseparable from investments, be it crypto, stocks or anything. There’s always a thumb rule for investments: never invest more than you can afford to lose. No matter how cliche it sounds, it is always applicable.

Many people are too pushy to invest so they put all their money there, when prices drop and don't match expectations then they panic and immediately sell at a loss. investment is putting more money so that if we lose money, our finances will not be disturbed, and investment must have a clear goal, namely profit so that when the price drops, we can still be patient to wait.

First off only listen to financial professionals who are qualified to give such advice.  There are plenty of intelligent folks around here but there's an even bigger faction of complete morons around here who will give you their "advice" which is just god awful.  The answer to your question is a resounding NO.  What they did was irresponsible and foolish and they happened to have gotten lucky.

I was just reading a report about BTC , A USA family sell all there assets and with that amount they invest in Bitcoin in 2019. as in 2021 BTC was on its peak ! So they get huge profit.

But as a dump then came in crypto market, for every investor it was really a great shock.

What you people say about this topic ?
Should we invest just like them or should start with a less amount ?

as Bitcoin came down in past months . it can be a great loss for those who invest madly !

Must drop your suggestion !

At my early days in crypto, I can say that investing in crypto is beneficial. I invest only time and effort in different bounties then I got paid after the campaign. So without putting any of my money, I make real money. But it last since there are of scam projects I encountered that does not pay me or give me shit coins. I have decided to leave crypto but I find myself coming back that is why I am here and I am now more careful. It is not beneficial as before but it is still better than just browsing in Facebook or watching YouTube.

I think we should invest only what we can afford to lose because investing in crypto is very risky so everything that we invested can disappear all at once in any wrong move. Even when we cry all night and day, we can't take it back or undo it. Maybe the USA Family is rich enough? I am not sure. The bigger the possible income is, the bigger what we can lose also.

It would be beneficial if you wouldn't do what it takes to give you benefit. Well, let me explain. You invest all of your savings in bitcoin, and then you see that the bitcoin dump is 20% after the bad news, and your investment is now in the red. Now it has become a stable price at that point. It also provides a push for altcoins to be pumped. And you saw all the coins become green, but bitcoin is stable. It increased a little bit. But you are still at an 18-19% loss. If you understand it, it is a market game. And it could boom at any time and recover my loss and give me a profit. Then you might be benifitial. But according to experts, they didn't suggest anyone invest all of their money in bitcoin. They suggest investing that amount, which is like extra money to you because of bitcoin volatility. I also think the same. Thank you.

Investing in Bitcoin is a wise Investment option and Investors must understand and be prepare for the long HOLD. I don't think selling all your assets and investing all in Bitcoin regardless of the potential profits is a wise choice. I do think Investing a good amount of your assets in Bitcoin is good and you must understand that this is not for the quick gains.

This is a very stupid and extremely risky approach. Perhaps you can earn extremely high wealth, but if you suffer a currency crisis, you will lose most of your wealth!

This actually makes sense especially the last statement you mentioned.

Diversifying and allocating your investment into different investment mechanisms seems to be the right move for long-term investment profit. But in terms of crypto, generally, most people have invested here in short-term due to its high volatility nature. When millionaires invest into BTC, the slightest increase/decrease on its price would mean the gain or loss of thousands to millions of dollars on their part. That is why, only invest the money that you can lose.

We need to be practical for our daily living. Though crypto and other investment options are good, as they can give you huge profit (not to forget huge loss). That's why its advisable, if you have savings keep some of it in secure schemes like insurances, government backed schemes to tackle any uncertain situation. Rest of money you can invest in any sector of your choice.

At the moment it wouldn't be adviceable to sell off all you have to purchase bitcoin, you should only risk what you can afford to lose. No one is certain about bitcoin price for now. We all anticipate for another bull run but no one knows when this would happen currently bitcoin is bearish and how long this would last no one knows.

Have u thought what would happen if you sell off everything and bitcoin keeps going down how would you meet up your bills? Buy with a reasonable amount and hold for the future so you can still go about your normal business without considering what you have left on your wallet

It’s not the sensation. Something similar already happened in 2017 year when a Dutch family put aside doubts, have sold their house per 85 BTC (in euro), have sold all their possessions and invested in BTC all their money  https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/03/bitcoin-family-invested-their-retirement-and-savings-in-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin.html As far as I know they got a huge income,  however they decided to invest more and to Hodl more in hope that BTC will increase. They came in on time into crypto world, that’s essential. Today it’s quit hard for investors to make the same. They came in on time into crypto world, that’s essential. This depends on your personal readiness to led next several years by an ascetic way of life.

Investing in Bitcoin is never a bad idea. It Is a good decision to invest in bitcoin. There is a saying that "don't put your eggs in one basket", is not advisable to put all your savings in Bitcoin. Only a stupid person will make such a move.
Also, as an Investor, is important to invest what you can afford to lose. The price seems falling, is presently around $43k. For instant, someone Invested all his/her money in Bitcoin, and the price falls, this may lead to depression. To me, putting in all your assets in Bitcoin is madness.

I would say its "Madness" full stop.

There is no point in arguing that investing your whole money in one sector like GOLD, FOREX, EQUITY or CRYPTO, no sane person will do that ever.

Warren said "invest as much as you can afford to lose". If you can afford to lose your whole money then go ahead and invest in BTC.

The solution is quite straightforward. It's insane to put all of your savings into a single investment. It is often advised to new investors that they should not even consider undertaking such a thing. Never make an investment that you won't be able to recover afterwards. You might lose a lot of money, and it could also have a negative psychological impact on you.

We invest based on our understanding, our vision for the future, and how much we can afford to lose.
Many people here have invested all their hands in cryptocurrencies. That's because they did their research well before investing. The cryptocurrency market is very harsh and there is no room for gamblers as they will soon lose all their money.

No one expected Bitcoin to peak like that last year, It's not a good idea to invest all your money at once to Bitcoin, the problem is, the price hasn't made a full dump, no one can actually give you a clear assurance if the price is going down or going up, if you do want to play it safe and gain profit, start by investing a little with all your assets, keep track of the market at all times and make decisions, the risks/problems are still present even if you want to play it safe of course.

My main job salary not much, and i am start to made investment from little by little. If that family only buy bitcoin without any analysis, maybe their luck is very high or maybe they really dare to bet all their assets into crypto which nobody can't predict where price will go. But if they profit, congratulate to them. But that is not my style when made an investment.

I feel that the risk of selling all the assets and then exchanging them for bitcoin is a big risk. However, the method they used was successful, both getting rid of the big risk and earning a worthy return. All I can say is, the risk you take will be worth it if it works. But that's really crazy and just the YOLO movement imo, something really bad if they don't own it. own some money after buying bitcoin.
