But do not underestimate those who are expertly or professionally involved in this kind of thing. If you want to keep track of user stats between races (as that seems to be your point), this easily allows to find descriptive patterns which are a unique characteristic of any high-profile gambler. I don't think they are hiding their names for the fun of it, and still less would they want to reveal their gambling habits to a couple of prying eyes
What do you mean by descriptive patterns ?
Do you mean how the gamblers paly with odds or bet amounts? You are right. No successful gambler want their strategy to be revealed.
but I think people want to see only their profits and losses. It won't reveal something important about them.
(Everyone has the right to hide any thing from the profile and I don't say they shouldn't hide their profile.)
Even if you have a certain pattern it doesn't matter because people can't reach to you no matter what. I mean we are talking about literally a fake nickname over a fake nickname here, how could anyone reach to a person with a fake nickname over a fake nickname, you wouldn't be even allowed to pm anyone because it is a fake one

I'm not sure what you mean by a "fake name"

If you mean that the site lists dummy accounts to stir up the competition in the race, I can't help you with that (anyway, this issue has been discussed before). Otherwise, it is certainly possible to trace these users unless they are hidden in the way they are, i.e. you can't get any information about them other than the amount they wagered

If you actually want to say that the site must disclose their stats to prove they are in fact real users, then I'm inclined to think that you are asking a bit too much. Really, if you were one of those big fish betting so much, would you be happy if the casino decided to tell the world everything about your activity just to prove a point here?

I like wolf DICE very much and dont see any problem with "hidden" nicks.  I always can reach top 20 easily every day, so I checked myself there is no fake users
I don’t understand what your statement is based on and how you could check if there are any real or fake users.

Why are they hiding nicks at all? Many such platforms have all the information open to everyone.

It is really not our topic anymore, everyone said what they want to say and it is obvious, some people wants to keep the hidden hidden and some people want hidden to be not hidden in the sense that we get to follow who is in top 10 all the time even if it is abc, xyz type of fake random nicks given to people with already hidden nicks, so from now on its wolf.bets part to decide what they want to do, I guess they will keep hidden since it is easier that way.

Only the site owner/admin can check whether they are real or fake users. Hidden username cant be used as a reason to ask about real or fake IMO as even if they do not hide the username then we still unable to check whether they are real or fake.
Indeed I wonder how could he check and verify that there is no fake users?
Anyway hidden username is used for privacy purpose only, so we should appreciate anyone who want to be anonymous as much as possible.

His point is that he checks the top 20 every day and he is always among them, he himself set his account to be private so that it is hidden to others and only he knows his own position. If a gambling site is cheating with fake users, there is certainly no such person listed. Therefore he gives appreciation to wolf.bet.

Congrats for all of the winners here, but as I can see here, the prize is a little bit small for the first place.
0.04BTC is not a small prize. Idon't think there arer many casinos that offer higher prizes.

You can look that the amount of he got only 0.04 mean while he already wagered 7 btc which if it is 1% house edge then he already lost 0.07 btc but only recover small amount as well.
Wagering contest prizes are not supposed to cover your losses. It is a bonus, an act of gratitude from WB to their loyal users.

We thought it was better for everyone a short and clear image with the most competitive positions, but of course, 30 players get rewarded everyday.
We are still studying some options on ways to display the winners from previous races, we appreciate any feedback you want to leave hereSmiley

Btw, here is today's top 10, stakes are getting higher this week  Grin

I do not know what they aim but for most of the people the will always aim the positive outcome. I just want to know if it is still possible to raise the total prize since your site is increasing members and wagering amount

What do you mean by descriptive patterns?

Typically, we are not very well aware of our own patterns in some activity

But it doesn't mean they don't exist. Then, a descriptive pattern lets us tell one user (gambler) from another as it basically describes one's manner of doing things, e.g. what and at which time. Okay, if we want to use a unique mnemonic name instead of an all-equalizing moniker like "hidden", it still tells us enough to draw a connection between a person here and a gambler there, provided there is enough time and data. From a casino's perspective, "hidden" as in hidden is definitely a better choice

people hide their names for a reason Smiley
the main reason - they do not want to be tracked or listed or annoyed in any other shape or form
that is why every decent gambling site should have a privacy option for gamblers to hide their identity
I remember the times when the highrollers could not hide their bets and were literally swamped with begging personal messages
both moderators and players had tough times , glad it has changed since
What I meant was, instead of usernames we could have "hidden" players having nicks like "player52354234" that way we can compare results of each week with the current week and yes we would be able to track their records that way but when you want to message or at least reach out their real username will be like "SquallLeonhart" and their hidden name would be "player235234" and that way we can't find them

Most people won't bother

But do not underestimate those who are expertly or professionally involved in this kind of thing. To sum it up, wolf.bet does it right because they are vitally interested in attracting this type of a gambler ("big fish"), even if most of us ("small fish") don't particularly care whether someone is going to look through our bets (read, money loves silence, while big money loves grave silence)

I was checking past posts of wolf.bet and results of the past contests. The wagering amounts has increased very much. It shows how Wolf.bet has been successful to attract gamblers. They were very patient when the volume was low and now they have many users and high wagering amounts.
For example in the contest held on October 5, the winner had wagered only 2 BTC and and 10th winner had wagered only 0.26 BTC. Compare that with today's results.

Another race has ended, and as usual, $1000 were awarded to 30 players, congratulations everyone!
30 Players?
So, what do you show 10 top wagered gamblers? Isn't it better to show the first 30 gamblers? Till now, I tought the prize is distributed among top 10 gamblers.

Yes the prizepool of the race is distributed to 30 players but indeed they only show top 10 users only. I guess it is because that's the most attractive position to compete. If a user is out of the top 10 position, he/she is able to see his latest position along with other two position (above and under). So lets say you are trying to wager and you are on the 25th position, then you'll be able to see the 24th and 26th position only.
Absolutely showing all the 30 positions will be better as it is a competition so users who are wagering low amount knows about their competitors if they are under the top 10.

Not only first 30 positions, I think it's better to show the first 40 or even 50. This makes the competition more interesting for those who are in lower positions.
It's not difficult for them to show more positions. I don't know why they don't do this.

If there are 30 paid position, there is no need to show up to 50. It is useless, why we should see non winner position? If you mean to say that it will be good for player to know how much to wager in order to reach the last paid position then 30 position to show is enough. Showing all paid position is more than enough, also there is a current position or ourselves on the race so there is no need to make it up to 50.

They are still quite hidden, nobody can find them, nobody would know who they are and nobody would be able to message them but at the same time we would all be able to know who plays the most and see the top 10 in a lot different way. Sure that might put some people off but at the end of the day if nobody can know who they are why would it be any different than "hidden" to begin with.

Honest to God I thought it was top 10 as well, didn't even know there was 30 people getting prizes. I was never a big gambler so I was never really in them before so I don't know how many but in the end there should be more emphasis on the top 30 because if I work hard I am 50% sure that I could get into the top 30.

Not gonna be easy but definitely doable for me if I keep my money this week and gamble all of it next week together instead of dividing my money into two weeks. In any case maybe there should be not a picture ( top 10 picture is good enough) but like a link to winners at the bottom of the picture so if anyone wants to check they could just click on the link for further results instead of having all 30 on a picture making it too long for everyone to see.

Number one gets more then the site gets from house edge. So if you deposit 0.03 and wagered 3BTC you still have profit.  Grin

Statistically yes, but no one knows what will happen with our balance during the wagering for the contest. Lets say I deposit 0.03btc, I can lose it all before I can wager more than 1btc if I'm in very bad luck so it wont be profitable case. I did not join the last 3 days race because I saw it is getting harder for me now to be on top 10, I have joined 3-4 races and wagered approximately 0.5-0.7btc on each race and I could be on top 5 last week but now it is harder.

You wager 3 BTC yes, you have a positive expected return, but as Bitinity says, you never know what can happen while trying to wager 100x your balance. 0.03 bets even at 1 satoshi martingale gives you 1 in 2.9 million chance of busting. You have to roll 300 million rolls to wager 3 BTC!

Variance is a very possible thing to happen of course in that period!

As I told the trick is to play not marginale. Just set an amount like 100sat on 1.25x. If have done that a lot and it just mathematical correct. If the end you will lose 1% of the house edge and wager +/- 100times your deposited amount. Just simulate it with seuntjies bot.
