Today there was 2nd ODI match between Sri Lanka Women & West Indies Women at Galle International Stadium, Sri Lanka. And fortunately Sri Lanka Women won by 5 wickets against team West indies women. When West indies Man giving fantastic performance in ICC world Cup, while West Indies Women giving worst performance and it seems they need more practice and need to give more effort on to develop themselves. Today West Indies Women won the toss and opt to Bat but they can't do well at all. Rashada Williams did 24 and Afy Fletcher, Aaliyah Alleyne did 16 runs each. Rest of players scored lower runs and total they collected 92-10 runs in 31 Overs. Kavisha Dilhari got 4 wickets alone. Although Sri Lanka Women performance wasn't so impressive but they did it. Vishmi Gunaratne(50) did half century, Kavisha Dilhari(28) made decent runs and won the match.

But this is Smriti Mandhana(117) who did his century behalf of team alone, besides Pooja Vastrakar(31) and Deepti Sharma(37) helped their team to made 265-8 runs (in 50 Overs) in total. But when it came o South Africa batting,. They were also in critical situation cause they were keep falling wickets and most of players did lower runs. Asha Sobhana took 4 wickets. Well both team played similar in batting but nobody was seen to play like Smriti Mandhana in RSA Women team. That's why they has been defeated by India Women.
Congratulations To the Indian women team winning by a huge margin of more then 140 runs against South Africa Women and leading the 3 match series by 1-0. India women batting first and setting a huge total of 265 runs in a loss of 8 wickets in the first innings. while chasing down a huge total South Africa women under pressure and all out in just 122 runa, lost the match very poor performance in the batting line. in this match my favourite Indian women's player will get the Player of the Match award Smriti Mandhana for his outstanding batting performance scored a well-deserved century for his team scoring 117 runs that helped the Indian women team to score 250 plus total for South African women. South African women need to improve their batting line to do well in the next matches.

For one, their batsmen gave big targets and their bowlers stop the runs with good bowling and took wickets and won the match. His decision was very good. Yes, it is true that they have lost wickets. But they have given a good and big target. But the performance shown by their bowler was the most outstanding. Their bowler bowled with good bowling and stopped the runs and took wickets. Their bowler won the match by taking 10 wickets in 37 overs. If their bowlers did not show such performance, the match could not have been won by them. But what his performance and fate wrote he got. South Africa need to perform as well as possible as they are far behind in winning matches. Congratulations to India for the win as they won the first ODI match to increase their point by one match. 
I wasn't expecting such a recovery when Indian Women were struggling at 98/5. At that time even a 200 scoreline was looking too good to be true but South Paw Madana did her thing and the lower middle order gave decent support. Happy that Pooja Vastrakar gave her best with the bat, she did the same in the tests and can potentially groomed as 7-8th number batter (Bowling all rounder).
Also a big thanks to Smriti Mandhana who made 117 runs and kept the innings together. Yes she was well supported by Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar and India was able to make, not a reasonable but a very competitive score.
