^^^ If you look at the teams in the quarter-finals, you can see that out of the 8 teams, 5 had mostly native players. The 6th team (Hong Kong) has a mix of native players and expats, while the other two (United Arab Emirates and Kuwait) are 100% foreigner squads. Now coming to Malaysia women, they have made rapid strides in the last few years and they have a 100% native squad. In fact they will be one of the favorites to lift the trophy this time, along with Nepal, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates.

Malaysia Women against Japan Women sqaud match, Japan Women squad lost this third quarter final match because of putting low performance in batting inning and defeating target was not too much high only 101 scores in 20 overs but Japan Women did not able to compete this defending target and lost this match with 16 scores remained. Winifred Duraisingam batter collected 48 scores only two scores remained for mid century but sadly she was wiped out from crease after collecting 48 scores. Mas Elysa picked three batters wickets and also collected 19 scores and both displayed fantastic performance.

Today's match between Malaysia Women and Japan Women was played at the Oval and in the end, Malaysia Women won this match by 16 runs.
