Did anyone watch the match between New Zealand Women's team and the Pakistan women's team today?
We had a big upset today as the Pakistan women team beat the New Zealand Women's team by 7 wickets. This was a big win for a weak women's team of Pakistan. I never expected that they would give this performance in the home ground of New Zealand.

This is the first T20 between the two teams being played at Dunedin and we have three T20 matches between them. The win by Pakistan women make the series interesting as New Zealand would not want to lose the home series.

Yes, today is unlucky day for New Zealand squad because they did not emerge victory against Pakistan women squad. Defending target who made by New Zealand was not reliable and strong. After batting 20 overs, New Zealand squad collected 127 scores and which seems not a good defending target. Pakistan women squad easily got a victory and 7 batters were remained for playing and and also 10 deliveries left.

I am feeling a bit sad because this league is coming to finished and in this series we see a lot of brilliant performance in batting, bowling and fielding sid. In this second play off game, Brisbane Heat-W team got a great winning from Perth Scorchers-W team by huge margin of runs 67. Today was first play off game Sydney Sixers-W and Brisbane Heat-W teams was quite intense. This game was held on WACA Ground Stadium. Sydney Sixers-W won toss from the Brisbane Heat-W team and elected to bowl first today. Sydney Sixers-W team tried their best batting lineup struggle in this game and chased down 169 runs target. C.Atapattu batsman scored 41 runs in 40 balls with six 4s and one 6s in pitch and also this batsman bowled 2 overs and did not take wicket. Leader of this team H.Knight also played good and she scored 25 runs in 17 balls and she hitted three 4s. In bowling side, H. Darlington took down three wickets in overs with 42 runs. But these players struggling was not enough for winning and lose this game by 44 runs from Brisbane Heat-W team.

It was a very interesting and strong competition. It was a good decision but they did not know that it would cost us today. This is a great target but if a team works hard then this target will be achieved. Sydney thunder batsman played very well and effort and increase the run. He played the batsman very well but could not work hard in the bowling. H.Knight played very well and made runs to inspire his team. The Sydney Thunder batsmen would have won the match if they had performed a little better.But the Brisbane Heat batsman tried and performed very well and won the match.

I have a feeling that this year's Women's Big Bash League went on for too long. There were a total of 56 group stage matches, and we still have another 3 knockout matches remaining. It is quite strange that they shortened the Big Bash League to just 44 matches, but decided for a longer season with the WBBL. Anyway, from what I heard this time they had record attendance and TV viewership, despite the fact that the WBBL 2023 ran concurrently with the ODI World Cup. And WBBL will be followed by the Women's National Cricket League (Australian domestic 50-over competition), which will start from 12th December onwards.
