Definitely Nigerian president ....age 86 and still gunning for more Years in the office while battling with serious health problems

This doesn't make him power.
Little to no people are aware of who is exactly the Nigerian president. He might be only powerful or corrupted so as to be president for so many years.
The powerful presidency comes from the fact that he controls the international events.

For me the strongest leader was José Mujica, Uruguayan ex president. He donated 90% of his monthly salary to charities, he drive his old Volkswagen, and he continued to live in his country house even thou he could use Presidential Palaces.
Without bodyguards, without expensive suits, cars.. one of the most amazing pictures of him was when he waited in hospital like in a public hospital!
This is the strongest leader of them all!

I agree with this statement, the leader for me is a person who is willing to sacrifice for the sake of the people, not the other way to sacrifice the people for personal gain.
A strong leader is not someone who can destroy everything but who can unite everything.

This is simple, anybody who is the sitting president of the USA is the most powerful man of the world, thanks to the financial muscle and government machinery at his exposal

If strongest you mean by diplomatically conquering other lands, that there is no doubt Putin
If strongest is the respect, fear and obedience - Kin Jon Un
If the strongest is for making his country economically strong - then I would say leader of China or UAE.

i believe that the most powerful leader in his country is Kim Jong Un, who i believe has only few opponents within the country and his decisions are never discussed, and there are no interference from other countries in internal affairs thanks to the atomic deterrent...

Strength is not a real indicator. We should look at the attitude towards people in their countries and that is the true factor.

I admired this humble president. This leader should be emulated by other leader. A person whose heart is on the poor and having a big heart to extend resources to those in need.

Article below is a good read.

The Chinese and Russian presidents undoubtedly are very powerful in their respective countries but when it comes to POWER, Allies are very much important ad with that i believe that the US President is the srongest leader especially when you look at NATO and its economic strength and millitary prowess.

In my opinion, I presume the most strongest or influential leader in the world is the US president, at any point in time the US government has a great control on many countries in the world. This makes their leader or president very powerful.

The US president is powerful as a role, but Trump as an individual is not so powerful.
HE actually inherits the authority that his role gives him. There are more powerful leaders who are powerful due to their personality.

All of those "leaders" are subject to control and influence by the real world elite. The strongest are in the ruling dynasties of the Rothschilds, The Vatican, and the British Crown.

I agree with you, none of these leaders have any real power.  The real controllers are behind the scenes pulling the strings and people like Trump is just a puppet.  Whoever controls the banking system has the ultimate power.

Kim Jong is the definition of a dictator with nearly total and complete control of his nation. Putin and Xi Jinping are semi-dictators that operate largely under a ruse and have a heck of a lot of power in their own right.  Trump doesn’t nearly hold the same power as these other “leaders” but has powers of his own that aren’t completely controlled by the senate/big corporations.

Imo all terrible human beings. Sad.

I would say it's Putin as individual lmao. It's like a dictatorship there? He has been president maybe way before my grandfather was born (sacrasm). He knows everything by now about how geo-politics and how stuffs work. And since he's there for so long, he talks less and not driven by political benefits.

And because he knows it all, he knows to toe the line when it comes to obeying the superrich, hidden leaders of the world... or else. Just like Trump and all the others, btw.

Cool

Probably Xi Jinping for me. Second place would be Putin. The reason being they are both in control of very powerful countries, and they are both intelligent and know what they are doing. This is why I'd put Trump further down the list. He's only in charge because Putin wanted him there.

Putin I would put ahead of Xi Jinping, were it not for the fact that China is more powerful than Russia.

This literally isn't true in the least. This is something that liberals like to say, but it's not something which is true in the least.

It was shown in multiple reports that Putins goal was to sow division in the US, not to put a certain candidate into the office.

I'm not sure whether this is true or not, I've certainly heard the speculation, but I would agree that Trump isn't intelligent enough to be the world's most powerful leader. I suppose it does all come down to the definition of powerful, which obviously can be taken in many ways. If it is in terms of influence, then I would agree the Chinese leader is #1. China's activities in the South China Sea alone are quite astonishing. So I would say Xi is #1 for me too, with the qualification that really whoever is in charge of China would take the top spot, whether it's Xi or someone else.

For the record, Trump is intelligent. He may seem like a bafoon on twitter and when he talks sometimes, but I would throw most of this up to the personality that he's taken up as POTUS. You can't be a dumb person and make the amount of money that he made in his lifetime, and command the amount of respect among people as well.

He also won the presidency through a hostile takeover of the GOP -- so yeah, not an idiot.

One of the biggest reasons Trump's opponents don't like him, is because he acts like a buffoon. They don't have a clue what he is going to do next, because he changes so much.  But he changes as they change, and as foreign enemies change. This keeps them continually off-balance. That's why they don't like him the most. If he didn't continually change, they could figure out a method to get at him.
