I actually prefer this exchange to bter. It's less ugly and the cashouts actually happen automatically... on bter it takes hours for me to cashout.

Those who bought on here at a rate of 3 LTC / 100 WDC were I think perhaps a bit naive and overoptimistic

A key thing to remember is that miners have ZERO loyalty to any of these new scamcoins.  As soon as a new coin, i.e. digitalcoin or nibble, is released many of the miners will abandon WDC and move on.

Once difficulty gets high enough, all the miners abandon the scamcoin leaving it a dead cold corpse with day long confirm times.  The developers then scramble to save it, begging people to throw GPU at it or by releasing new clients.

Rinse and repeat.  This will be the cycle for months.  We'll probably see 500 coins before it is all said and done.  One or two might make it.

Good miners, mine what ever coin is profitable at the present time...WDC diff goes up, LTC diff goes down. When LTC is more profitable, people will switch. Rinse, repeat. Shitty miners, will jump to things like Nibble, and Digitalcoin, even though they are practically carbon copies of WDC, and, only like, 1 in ever 10 new ALT coins, make it to a reputable exchange. Oh well, more profit for me

because anything before an exchange is speculation Tongue price is still up from yesterday

yes but imo no as we are on coinchoose ALOT of miners will jump onto the train. but those miners have absolutely no intention to mine and hold those coins.
its seen as a scamcoin and is dumped immediately after being mined. that has occured with more or less every coin that has been brought to coinchosse lately and it will be no different here. just my opinion.

Just to be clear at a rate of 2 LTC / 100 WDC the bitcoin equivalent is .02637 LTC/BTC * .02 WDC/LTC = .0005274 WDC/BTC

It is presently trading at .0007 WDC/BTC at mcxNow which is much higher than that 2 LTC / 100 WDC rate.  Hence, anyone who bought on here at that rate is making HEAVY PROFIT

I think tons of newbies got confused by the fact that WDC was traded in a rate per LTC.  They don't know, obviously, how to convert LTC to BTC and are shocked at a non-event when seeing the WDC/BTC trading ratio

Start selling at .01, dont sell out cheap -
I like the coin, but it needs to be more established and have more buyers before it establishes a price close to .01.

Markets consist of both buyers and sellers, and buyers have no reason to buy at more than .001 or .002.

Yup exactly, there are asks set at 0.01 but realistically do you ever think they will be filled?

Thats all good and all that.

I do like it how it says that WDC aims to be better than bitcoins, but so far on that site you can only buy WDCs with bitcoins, hopefully they allow for USD transactions as well.

It's not a matter of allow, it's a whole new ballgame if you are going to trade in fiat, opens up a can of worms and all sorts of legal compliance issues depending on where you are.
