ever heard of sarcasm!!!! You must be from the otherside of the pond hahaha
Obviously i cant make VGA cards, Few companies can. And FPGA boards. Point is, it's an insane OTT card, Thats it Smiley Especiallly a Nvidia! down down down down, down down down down haha. They are screwed in the desceate market, admit it. There fermi is a joke. Then again, ATI/AMD's CGN arcitechre is a step in there direction. I'm not expecting great bonus's although all the reviews will say its XX better than the 6/5 series. B/$ i call. Until we move from silicon its all dead in the water and companies throwing away there money on researching it (intel doesnt know any better).

Graphene should be in MASS production NOW! its just companies like intel that have blocked the way cause they wouldn't even now where to begin. Step aside inteliwinker and let some new blood show you how to do it. And dont bank on the Big Blue, there more evil then Intel!!!

Most of the things you own are from chinese manufacturers.

And most of them are junk.  Quality of consumer goods has taken a nosedive over last 20 years.

Of course the global economy is just building what the majority wants (cheap, garbage that likely breaks in a few months/years and is generally not repairable).  The throw away society.

It's from Colorful a chinese manufacturer, what were you expecting ?

It's from a Chinese manufacturer, enough said.

Ethnocentric much?

Most of the things you own are from chinese manufacturers.

I wasn't knocking Chinese manufacturing at all. I'm simply pointing at the general stereotype that asian culture is weird. (ie the whole PuddiPuddi thing, the grey market Wiis, and generally all of the candy.) I was simply poking fun. I will on the other hand say again, that by 'sneezing the wrong way' on the forum here, will cause a war, so I'm treading on thin water.

This makes absolutely no sense for a GTX 560 chip. The engineers must have been on peyote.

no they assume their customers are always on it

WTF? Sodium reacts violently enough with *water* - and you're putting it in hydrochloric acid?Huh?

Sounds like a recipe for an instant explosion as the copious hydrogen production is ignited by the violently 'burning' sodium. Calcium eventually causes a few bubbles of hydrogen from pure water... bung calcium in dilute hydrochloric acid and you get a violent reaction. Only a lunatic would put *sodium* in HCl.

Sure you're not talking about concentrated sulphuric acid? Even so...

Could be, high school chemistry was a long time ago, but we had an interesting teacher with some good stories.   Playing with benzene and toluene while avoiding making the tri-nitro version was fun.

For a new vendor launching a card like this is a good way to attract attention, also i'd bet it's one of the "upgraded" 560 ti cards nvidia is planing to make avilable ( http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-graphics-chip-gf110-gf114-Geforce-560-ti,13832.html )
I'm actually amazed anything green made it into this forum at all even if it was to point out how silly it is (although wi-di and the upgradable VRM would be nice to see on other cards as well, so would the ability to on lower end cards add a laptop sodimm but that died in the 90's)

Two words, stream processors.

Yes, these are the things that AMD/ATI cards have a great abundance of, which make them better at mining.

I'd be curious to see if he sees any difference between 2, 3 or 4 of those cards, from the research I've done SLI doesn't really give significant gains past two cards.

I get very near double performance with two 6950's crossfired, however.

Well from what it seems, he get's similar performance between 2 cards and 4. I'm not sure why he has four to be honest.
