If you are worried about BTC then you should sell it all because you clearly don't understand it. Nothing worries me about BTC ever. The system is designed to improve as time goes on and more attacks occur on it. That's how an open source, decentralized system works. That's why it is immutable and all these other blockchains are not immutable. Centralized systems fail, fully decentralized systems do not.

I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.

Worrying is part on being an investor and bussiness you should always wanted to make sure that your money is safe. But im pretty sure that what ever difficulties bitcoin is strugelling now they would make a way to repair that problem. And im sure that bitcoin would be upgrade for a great adjudtment happened.

i think as long as bitcoin is still be used by most investors on the world, there will be more and more people worry and ask about bitcoin future, i think you should not worry about that because one day bitcoin will die, so you should focus on your
bibtcoin investing and earn some more bitcoin.

I am actually no longer worried about what's going on with bitcoin, I have come to understand how the market works and what causes the the price fluctuations, and all I can say is that whoever is interested in investing in bitcoins or any cryptocurrency should go read up a lot of stuff on investments, so as not to end up crying.

I dont know why but i do agree with you.
Those are one of the reason and the other is when it grows in price I knd of fear it is also nearing a chaos.
It is becoming the apple of the eye of the government and they might do steps that will make the bitcoin world have problems.
The forks are true. Since it hit the thousand dollar mark a lot have been happening which did not before.
yes we afraid of mass dumping that might broke the market. but i do believe there will be a long future for bitcoin and it has to be a good one

Transaction fees are going high because of the rising number of transaction on that particular time. Which means more and more miners are needed to compensate this increase and provide lower transaction fees.

Hard forks on the other hand really don't affect the coin negatively. Two hard forks was made this years and if you will see the prices it affected the price positively.
I think there is no need to worry about bitcoin future because bitcoin future is very bright and secure so I think end of the year some more countries will also join bitcoin and it will give more power and strength to bitcoin and next year will be more lucky for bitcoin because this year was much batter then last year so every year bitcoin is going to do progress.

If we are talking about the concern that everyone will have the same thoughts because they will feel job loss and we have no activity anymore, but I believe that bitcoin in the future will remain noble.

With your second point:

It seems like more people regardless of the amount of splits end up depending on Bitcoin anyway. We can tell this by the amount of people who quickly dumped their Bitcoin cash instantly to get more Bitcoin. Furthermore, the support of the splits aren't as widespread as the support of Bitcoin itself.
You need not to worry about the future of the bitcoin. If bitcoin does not survive I do not see any other currency taking bitcoin place, so if you want to get out of bitcoin I will suggest to get out of cryptocurrencies completely, and about the hard forks it is very obvious the forks are not being created to solve anything, it is just an attempt to make money with bitcoin’s name and at the same time to attack bitcoin and see if people fall and accept one of these awful coins as the new dominant coin. Bitcoin's future is really so successful.

I dont think so you need to worry from bitcoin,I see that bitcoin now has a strong foundation to build. The price of it is volatile so it must rising or falling, the demand of bitcoin now is in good terms I thinks it has a better future someday no need to worry for your long term investments, but in reality always be ready for whatever happens.
I agree. BTC has attracted more and more attention from public.
It is easy to notice that more people are talking about it than ever.
It is growing exponentially.

I share some of those concerns as well, and Bitcoin is still a risky investment. They need to address the block size and fees or it could become a problem.

There is also the concern that Bitcoin is in a bubble right now and that the crash is going to be big. I think this is unlikely, but it’s good to be realistic and be ready for this possibility.

If that crash do come someday, I'd be more than happy to collect more.
Actually I believe any crash is  just correction. The long term trend is upward for sure.

The future of bitcoin is still good, it still going up again after suffering a big price crash. It is highly volatile and nobody control the bitcoin  but as long as the strong support is still there, there is no need to worry. Bitcoin is still leading the way to another new all time high in the future although it will still encounter some hardforks along the way.

You are correct mate that bitcoin is really volatile. However, this is really what most of cryptocurrency traders - they want it to be that volatile so that they can have the potential to win whether the price is going up or down and it will then be just how they position their open position and pre-planned their closing position.

If it really happen. Then it comes. We must be reafy and prepared for what might come happen. We must accept this fate. And many problems that faced by the bitcoin but still now it is survived with high value. So wr need to trust in the bitcoin and bitcoin miner. To those investor and to those users. But we must ready as i say.

I had a few approaches at forex, and I can share my experience if you are interested: it is a game in which brokers win and the rest is destined to lose in the long run. Especially nowadays with the participation of pseudo AI trading bots forex has become a sort of a lottery, in which results are random or as close to random as it doesn't matter. So there is no winning strategy in existence (as there is no winning strategy to any lottery). Treat it as a lottery and participate occasionally and you'll be OK or even you might win something significant in one of the "draws"; but treat it as an investment in which you regularly participate and the law of large numbers will rule your fate (and you are doomed to lose in the long run)

True, if Bitcoin (BTC) would not survive. Then this is the start of crash of most crypto currency. Majority of ALTCOINs will start to dissolve too.
So what I am doing now is learning Forex and Stockmarket so whatever happened I have another source of investment aside to crypto.

instead of worrying and stressing your self too much, why dont you just enjoy it? i belive in the saying that all good things must come to an end , therfore i believe that bitcoin can end someday but we dont know what is the exact date of that or maybe it wont happen because people are started to adapt bitcoin as a part of thier daily life and it is verry useful because it works like a regular currency.
