There is one coin at worst but i will not mention his name.
Why do i say the coin was the worst? Because their team can't work according to the appointed times.
It's about the swap coin. When q1 2018, in the whitepaper they say the swap will be made on q3 2018. But by the time it's q3 2018 they're swithcing the shitepaper and advancing to q4 201.
Now q4 2018 they need more time than q1 2019 for a reason.
The prices have gone down and have to wait longer to swap coin. If their team works for the whitepaper, it probably won't happen.
I lost my money and my patience wasted. But hopefully, there will be no project to procect uncertainties.

There is no worst altcoins but worse altcoins, more and more shit altcoin is coming out to scam our money, so keep third eye on those projects.
Worst coins are those that never listed on the exchange for long time after the projects ended and now it is gone. There are many coins I had on my account but useless because I again d nothing from it even I work hard for it to have. Many scam projects but hopefully this following year projects become valuable.
Although there are lots of terrible coins with unimaginable prices, but I can't say they are the worst. Like CYFM coin, which a million of the coin isn't even up to 3usd. There are lots of crazy coins like that.
the worst coin I have ever found is an airdrop coin that has no bounty, and their concept is unclear and the price is also very cheap, that's what I've seen, the rest isn't there.
Most of the coins which don't have active developments and activity updates from the company will surely become most shit coin in the present condition of the market. We need to be very careful with those coin because we might loose our money by investing into those shit coins.
BitcoinCash is one of the worst altcoins there is. Yes, it has improvement, but the sense and the consensus is harming the crypto ecosystem. The results are clearly visible like last time as BCH conducts another hardfork.
I think the term is relative depending on how they played out and how smart any investor was with them. While it may be the best altcoin for some, it may be the worst for others. Personally some of the coins that I invested in especially at ICO levels that made me some reasonable income last year today do no longer exist, some have already been delisted from Coinmarketcap and most exchanges. It is highly relative
It is difficult to say which project is the worst this year, because in 2018 there were a lot of Scam projects. I can call the project in which I invested and it turned out to be the most unsuccessful for me, this is the BEE Token project. The price fell more than 40 times after the investment

Because of the good coins, people are willing to spend more time to understand and invest in them, but knowing the worst coins will only waste time.

Bitconnect was the worst one, Onecoin also caused damage.
I personally don't consider them coins, but if coinmarketcap and others are willing to list them, then their failures will taint all of crypto
Eventhough the market has dropped, but I can say that I am still lucky that I have never run on some shitcoins. Hopefully in the future I can still not get to invest in such.
i personally don't consider the real scam/shit/ponzi coins as "worst altcoins". they are terrible coins for obvious reasons but they are obviously bad coins. for example an altcoin called anal coin or pump coin is obviously a shitcoin. they know it, you know it and nobody is hiding it!

There are a lot of bad altcoins, but we need to be careful in buying, investing and trading such assets. You need to have a lot of experience in the field of cryptocurrency to understand. And now in this market a lot of beginners and Amateurs.

There are so many altcoins that have had a bad performance this year, that perhaps the most correct question to ask would be which ones are the best ones... Most altcoins have dropped 80%-90% from their All-Time High.
a lot of coins are indeed made for the short term, but many are also for the long term, I am not very interested in coins or tokens from the ico program, although I often invest in the ico program, I don't hold it for long
