Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

I really think a lot of people made that kind of decision. My friend had the worst regret of his life because his best friend was giving him 10 bitcoin before and he refused it because he thought that it was a scam and just a waste of time. He would have been a millionaire now.

Well in my case, the worst decision that I have done related to bitcoin cryptocurrency which I regret was when the first time I have got into a situation wherein I gained my first income which was really big at that time and here comes the first price drop that I have encountered so because panic approaches my body, I got into the decision of transferring my money into my other wallet which was our national currency and it turns out that it lessen more than the initial and when the time bitcoin pumps again, my money do not looks like the initial one again.

I invested 3 btc on a hyip by the middle of 2015, when the price was less than $200 each bitcoin, i dont know why did i trusted in those kind of programs, i was just a newbie in the bussiness area, maybe that is the reason of why have i been so dumb. Anyway, maybe i could have more than $20k dollars if have them on my wallet right now.. what a sad story, i remember it and i can not even believe it.

I Hated myself for investing in hyips and ponzi scheme. They would have been worth millions if I kept them till date. I can only invest in good ico's and trading Right Now

I have heard situations like this when people just take what they have and dash it out to scammers all in the name of trying to double what they have. HYIPs and PONZIs are all out there to drain all those they can gullibly drain and it is best for everyone to always stay wise and smart and not just opt in for lazy ways of making money. Nothing good comes without hardwork and there are so many legitimate ways one can increase what one has than loosing all. Hope you learnt your lessons though.

I had a bad decision made last year where I didn't bought any bitcoins but i was panned and arranged money to buy btc Unfortunately i lost my hope on bitcoins growth. Anyway compared with few peoples loses here my lose is nothing. I can't imagine they were holding few bitcoins that are not in decimals and sold for cheap. I know we cannot predict.
So many things usually happen so we can learn from our mistakes to make best decisions in the future and I believe you wont even make such a mistake again knowing now what you have missed by not taking the huge risk initially.

I cannot blame anybody though cause I wish I had someone who could explain the whole thing to me the way I always explain to people this days so as to have been able to make some decisions far back when it all started. The most important thing is that we are here now.

Hmm I think that my unsuccessful purchase. Few months ago I have seen that Bitcoin is 2400-2600$ per coin. If I had bought some Bitcoins then I would have got two times more money now. I just missed the bus with investment occasion.

My worst decision was when I sold 100BTC for 20$ ))))
Oh my gosh! For real?! Why did you sold it for 20$? If I was on your shoe,  it's not only my worst decision,  but instead it would be my worst nightmare. Too bad you've wasted your 100BTC. If you only knew how much it cost for 1BTC, you wouldn't sell it. Anyway, that's life. Atleast now you've learn from your mistake.
Simply in that time, the price of Bitcoin was very low and it not popular as now. His history only a part of the regret of many people have Bitcoin and sold all before its value increases. But that amount of money never comeback, therefore do not let a "small" money to make you feel regret forever Grin

i guess he's a classical example of the panic sellers of today, all they know is sell after a tumble and i bet they deserve their fate. Maybe  the bitcoin community then needed him to hold on to his coins but he decided to be wise and sell for others to loose but in the end we've seen the true loser. Don't console him leave him to rue his actions.

The worst bitcoin decision that i had ever made is when i sell my bitcoin last July that was the time that bitcoin reached around $2000.00 we're in fact by the time of split of bitcoin and bitcoin cash the value of bitcoin reach almost $5,000.00 that is very regretful to me. I did not control myself to panic thats why i had sell it. Lesson learned do not panic and control emotions in investing.
yes it could be everybody mistakes all over the work i think .

if you buy bitcoin as much as possible before the fork , your bitcoin will have value around $5,000 indeed. really regretful isn't it? people might did not think just like what you and i did , that was not the worst decision but more to the big regret i have.

the very worst bitcoin decision i've ever made is when i ignore it i 7years ago instead of  trying, If i just tried it since someone introduce to me,maybe i am one of the richest in the world.
Well then in this case I am very lucky because as once my friend told me about the bitcoin I started the bitcoin and now I am able to earn good income from it. A lot of people like you do not trust in bitcoin and they are not ready to invest in bitcoin but for me it is not good to let the opportunity go and cry later I like to hold the opportunity and wait till the price of the bitcoin will be high.
For those people who dont have any idea about bitcoin existence they should really need to know to increase more the adoption rate of bitcoin it up to them if they would decide to engage with it or not but as being said we should really not pass the opportunity on making money.Same as yours im really thankful that my friend did introduce to me about bitcoin and now im earning decent enough to sustain my needs.

My only regret is not spending my life savings on Bitcoin back when I first learned about it, when it was going for $15 a piece.

Oh well.
worst? I think the worst decision is to convert btc into cash currency! gosh. it's stressfull.

Is that so? What if you really need that money? Or there's an emergency that the lives of your love one's is at stake. You'll be able to regret? Well maybe you have a reason for that.
Well, as for me, I'll never regret to convert btc to cash as I know I needed that.
However, the worst decision I made is not believing bitcoin when I still have a chance to buy at very cheap price. But still I consider fortunate because I still bought my first satoshis way back 2015. And I can say that I profited and have a savings that I can't have even though I have my regular job.

Worst decision when i heard bitcoin is that i never believe it..when the price are already higher than expected and can't afford to buy..and now that it pupms up so high i feel self pitty because all i can do is watch it as its value goes  higher and higher.

What you are doing presently is the worst mistake you will ever make. However, the fact that the price is high right now, does not mean you can still buy in between the satoshis. You will feel like killing yourself when what you could have bought for $100 now has turned into $10000 in the nearest years. Stop regretting and take action now the best little way you can.
